So they're dead?

So, one drank poison and died while the other impaled itself on a sharp piece of metal?

So...the knew each other 3, 4 days, killed or were otherwise responsible for the deaths of half their families and ended up killing themselves because of a missed message?

/There are two tragedies in Romeo & Juliet: One is that nobody, NOBODY in that play listens to anyone else, aside from Mercutio
//The second is how people think it's one of the most romantic plays ever.

I have had birds for about 30 years. They are very smart. Opening a cage is easy for them. I've had them get loose before.

I just never knew it was a case in which I was required to alert the media.

For a moment there, I thought they both commited suicide.

ftfa:  Last month neighbours told them a wild cockatiel, whose owners are still unidentified, was flying around the outside of their property, and was seen perching on their roof.

Ok....  So is it wild, or simply an escapee?  There is a difference.  I know those things aren't indegenous to anywhere in the US, but they could have started a breeding population just the same.

I'm of the opinion that Romeo & Juliet was actually supposed to be a comedy.

I have a friend who told me his theory about that -- are you a theater person, by any chance?

Very possible.  If a wild cockatiel was involved, throw sex as modivation into the picture, extremely possibly.

Is anybody else tired of the stupid "such and such style" thing? In my opinion; any reporter who uses such idiotic word placement should be boiled in oil. The headline could have been "A pair of love birds flew the nest."

/ end rant

Nice.

Nicholas Angel: So Eve deserved to die too?
Dr. Robin Hatcher: Well, she did have a very annoying laugh.
NWA Members: [echoing in agreement] Annoying.
