This REALLY makes me miss my late hubby. He could do most of those tricks- he did tricks to entertain the guests on our wedding day waiting for me to walk down the aisle.

*sigh*

I really need to get my yo-yos out of storage, I haven't used'em since I moved many years ago.  It's a lotta fun.

I'm 48 years old.   Last year I got divorced and was forced to go through a lot of old crap.  Found my awesome purple imperial yo-yo.   To my surprise, I was every bit as good with it as I was when I was twelve.  Meaning, I could not get it to come up then or now.

/yes, that was amazing

No wonder you got divorced.

A bunch of my friends and I used to mess around with Yo-Yos during lunch break in school to pass the time. We thought we got pretty good, but apparently we were wrong. Quite impressive vid there subby.

/Why yes, we were outcasts.

I can work a yoyo like any other non professional.  flip it around, get it to stay and spin, etc...  But how these guys manage to pull of a string of trick like this is just amazing.

//No pun intended

I know a few sponsored guys, and watching what they come up with while talking with them in a bar for example is just awesome.

Attempting any one of those tricks would have ended with me needing someone to come over with a pair of scissors and cut me free...

I just bought a Yomega Dash two weeks ago, and started getting back into it.  Last week I shattered my wrist and had to have 6 bolts put in it.  Won't be playing with that for a while...

I was working the booth at a major trade show about a year ago.  Part of our trade show schwag was a yoyo that flashed when you spun it.  It had the company name on it, and every schwag whore on the floor came by looking for one.   I had to Sr. VPs from a Very Large South American Company show up and proceed to put on a show for about half an hour.  It was pretty amazing shiat.

I gave them extras for the kids.  Bastards never took a meeting, though.

/  Yo-yos and thumb drives will bring people to your table at the trade shows, folks.  Keep your pens.

/FTFY for age appropriate reference. I bet his friends remind him of this constantly too. I know my friends did when I messed up like that. Stupid string getting wrapped up too tightly...
