Please please be something like a four-week injury. The Bills playing the Pats with Tebow starting would be hiiiiilarious.

Why would they start Tebow over Mallett?

No Welker, no Hernandez, a banged up Gronk, and a no Brady would make for a very long year in NE.

Very true (in PaytonWorld Brady "has a knee"), but for now it's a mild sprain.

So, is Ryan Mallett the next Matt Cassell?

Heh. As if this crew can win 11, even in that division.

Well its like who's Peyton Mannings back up? Exactly.

If the Patriots management and coaching staff collectively have half a brain, they would not let Tebow anywhere near the QB position during a real game (before you say it: preseason does not count). They should go to the free-agent market and see who can read a defense with the minimum alacrity of a 7th grade punter.

The Pats just might be living on Tebow time!   and it could not happen to nicer team :P

Mallett want to thank you for bringing that to Tebow's wrathful, smiting god's attention.  Now, he will be getting baptised every hour, on the hour, until Brady gets back out there.

Jim Sorgi?

And even if Mallet is terrible (I hadn't heard that, in fact quite the opposite but IDK I don't follow NE that closely), that's still better than Tebow.

Ahh, poor guy. Brady fark your team up that bad the last 12 years? Sorry

Nobody thought Welker, Gronk, Hernandez (or Moss for that matter), were anything until Brady was throwing them the ball. This team will rip through NFL defenses like paper - nothing has indicated otherwise. And their defense, which was well above average last year despite injury, is returning 9 starters.

Mallet left the game last week

It would be funny if the pats can go 16-0 with Tebow starting all those games as QB. I'd become a Pats fan just for that.

Something like that, 21st in points allowed, 32nd (most) in yards allowed.

Sorry, but Welker had talent just nobody to throw him the ball in MIA, Gronk was a highly rated TE out of college (2nd round draft pick) and Moss was pretty much already guaranteed to be in the HOF. Granted Brady made them better but lets not get carried away and try to claim they are garbage unless he specifically was the QB

People seem to forget that Cassell jumped into an offense that a season earlier went unbeaten in the regular season and still had that same D also
