Jim Treacher and the Daily Caller nailed it. Americans have had enough of the Libs' racism.

I follow a lot of liberal types on the Twitter. They're not really making a big deal out of this rodeo clown thing. I only keep hearing about it from outraged Fox News types.

Yes, let's mock the source of the effigy.  Not the people who created it.

They're rodeo clowns for f*cks sake. I bet if they were wearing Ronald Reagan masks, no one would have said a word.

If you're trying to set a trap it's a pretty lousy one.

No, both are in bad taste.

Nobody cares except perpetual victims. Most of the noise on this issue seems to be coming from the right. I dont see this one getting any traction, i think they'll have better luck with the obama golfing picture.

Then show proof of actual incidents.  Just a quick search of news.google.com doesn't bring up any of the usual "libby lib" websites.  Daily Beast, Mother Jones, etc.

I do however see Limbaugh and Hannity links that are up in arms. I thought Obama was the one manufacturing scandals?

Seriously. Are we supposed to believe that the rodeo clowns putting HW Bush masks on dummies at a rodeo in 1994 were liberals? That liberals were at the rodeo laughing at the parody while conservatives were outraged? Or are we supposed to feel bad that no one friggin' knew about it because it happened 2 years after he left office and before the Internet was a thing?

An HW Bush rodeo clown. Actually, from what I read it was an HW mask on a dummy... two years after he left office. No mention of anyone stirring up the crowd into a frenzy asking if they wanted to see him run over by a bull either.

I doubt the rodeo is a state-run thing. The state runs the fair and plan events for it and contracts businesses to run those events.

I'm concerned about mass displays of Obama Derangement Syndrome.  I realized Bush Derangement Syndrome was weird while he was in office.  It's one thing to actually be protesting something.  It's another when mass entertainment is seeing a representation of the president being chased by an animal and people deriving joy from that.  It's just weird.

What incidents? Some subset of liberals got annoyed on Sunday/Monday. The right has been non-stop re-victimizing now since Monday morning. Aside from shiatty Fark green lights and Crooks and Liars, nobody to the left of Heath Schuler gives a shiat about rodeo in MO.

So basically it's not the same thing at all and anyone making comparisons is being a spurious, disingenuous cockswain and we should punch them in the tummy?

Enougb outrage for the rodeo clown to be banned from all future fairs and the announcer and coordinator to be forced out.

But.. no outrage at all.. NAACP never made any comments. DoJ wasn't asked to step in... that is allllllll imaginary.

This reminds me of the old "Ron Reagan Jr. Show" on Fox during the '80s.  Someone on their panel (which usually consisted of local AND available "experts" on stuff like kids & drugs, welfare, etc.) would assert something completely dopey, then one of their friends in the audience would stand up and applaud vigorously.  Every other audience member would look at the friend and be all like "whaaa'?"

Kinda like this.
