I was going to do the whole 50 Shades thing first but I got side track painting the garage.  I'm perfectly qualified, semi literate, nice safe PG-13 kink, the only difference I was going  do I-Robot fan fiction.

These days, I'm just happy to see people reading anything. I couldn't care less what they read; it's just nice to see people reading.

I once worked with a woman who was scheduled to have back surgery. She was complaining that she'd have nothing to do while she was confined to her bed. I told her I have several hundred books I've bought at used book stores over the years and if I had that kind of time off, I'd spend it reading them. She proudly said to me, "I don't read." I asked her if she meant she chooses not to read or she never learned to read. I was confused because I've never met anyone who was proud of the fact that they don't read.

What you read or what you do in your own home is your own business but if you read this crap and enjoy it you likely have issues linking sex and violence together.  I'm not saying you're a bad person but you have a higher proclivity towards doing something bad (to others or yourself(emotionally or physically)) over the average person given the right genetic or environmental push.

You must live in a decently populated portion of AZ then. In a number of smaller cities and towns I've ben to in the states over the years I've noticed that folks seem to be proud of their ignorance and bigotry and lack of education. I currently live in small town Wisconsin, and I have a co-worker that is proud of the fact that he doesn't own a computer other than his smartphone, thinks reading as a hobby is stupid, thinks anyone that plays video games that isn't a kid is stupid. Quite loudly talks about black people being N*ggers, and regularly uses other racial epithets, and his pride and joy is his lifted pickup truck and his gun collection. Now of course that's just one person, but from everything I've seen here in the last few years, his sentiment isn't uncommon for this area.

isn't that it's going to get more gals interested in what I like to do

fark it, I'm going to write an "erotic novel" w/ butt plugs and gags like this chick and become a millionaire. What I don't understand is, why did her book become so successful? It's not well written, I'm sure thousands of these types of things get written all the time. What made hers so successful?

I know you guys think I'm trolling but it's my opinion right or wrong.  I have no specific citation, just a basic understanding of human psychology, sociology, and history used to form this opinion.

But you actually think that sex and violence (even among consenting adults) is a good thing for everyone?  Some people can handle it other can't.  And of those that can't there will be some that think they can handle it until they can't. That bring the "average" up among people that participate in that sort of pleasure.
