If only Scotland had a local product the consumption of which can help you calm your nerves...

I didn't know you could drive from Scotland to Germany. There must be a ferry.

When the German tourist left his jail cell, he put a towel on his bunk in case the judge sent him back to jail.

I guess technically they could've taken the E30 and gone through the Chunnel and up through London and parts north to Scotland. That way they could drive the whole way.

Are they really THAT bad about that?  I'm fascinated with this invisible conflict.  It appears to have been raging around me for years and I've never noticed it.

That's funny, in my tours of Europe the most dissapointing time and crappiest food was had in Frankfort.

Hit wife with pizza, pay a fine to the gov.   Just seems odd to me.

I like this variant.
Do you fill up a large heat bag with different sizes and types of pizzas separated by cardboard boxes?
Thin crust for drivers?
Thick crust for approach/putter?

I'm not very familiar with what constitutes popular tourist destinations but it doesn't seem as though Scotland would have much to offer.

To be fair, it's damn near impossible to pick a piece of pizza up with a noodle.

I'd think they would all have to be hand-tossed.

Hey, I've had haggis, and it isn't half-bad...sort of like a mealy paté. I wouldn't have a huge plate of it, but in small amounts, it's pretty good.

That really isn't particularly compelling.  People can post attractive women and men from numerous countries.  It isn't as though Scotland has a monopoly on them.

I will comment though that David Tenant is better than Matt Smith.

I have also had haggis and found it to be good in small amounts also. Of course, the fact that we were at the juncture where a wild stream flowed over rocks into the ocean on Skye and boiled the haggis over a campfire may have added to its flavor.

I love that stuff. I go to the WI Games for the beer and whiskey but in between the adult stuff I indulge in Irn-Bru.

Trust me, nobody in the Bluegrass State would have dared rustle up anything as horrible as the fat and gristle infested turkey loaf product that appeared on our table in the dystopian nightmare of a city known as Frankfort, Germany.  Even hillbillies have standards, y'know...

Considering the number of Italian WWII POWs that never went home, you'll find a good amount of decent ice cream, Pizza, and pasta places in Scotland.

Ha!  I was in Munich on Saturday and one place had a "pork loaf" that looked like an extremely thick and sweaty albino turd.  It was the most bizarre thing I think I've seen in a restaurant and I've eaten across SE Asia and Africa.

I'm currently in Glasgow and some of the food here is, naturally, farking awful.  But some of it is quality.  I don't have the courage to try "pizza crunch" as I value my cardio-vascular system too much, but there are some great places to eat here.  It's also very picturesque in places and you can be in stunning scenery quite quickly after leaving the city.  I never expected to, but after several trips and stints working here, I love Glasgow.  I'd quite happily live here.
