Those stores are like flea markets. Went once, never again.

Fashionable $129 Ugg boots could be gotten from Poyser for $50.

Ugg boots are a kind of fashion like Ed Hardy T-shirts or Zubaz pants.

TJ Maxx and their competitors are good for 3 things.
1) belts, hats, and other accessories
2) random houseware stuff
3) cheap clothing you're taking on vacation where you don't care if it gets ripped, stained, or lost

An employee stealing from a retail store? Why is that shocking?

"I paid $5 for a pair of $54 Crocs," the customer said. "If I had known it was all real, I would have bought everything."

Stolen goods? Who cares as long as I get good stuff for me, me, ME.

Gah. Crocs should only be worn by young children and no one else.

Same thing for Ugg-ly boots.

I saw an episode of 'Cops' the other day where an employee called the police and told them she was robbed at knifepoint while taking a sealed envelope of store money out to her car. One of the deputies, however, found the envelope beneath her passenger seat. She then tried to claim someone was threatening to hurt her family if she didn''t bring them the money. The detective wasn't having it. Grand larceny & filing a false police report.

If you're gonna try and pull such shenanigans, you should really find a better hiding spot for the loot in question.

I believe this was an episode of Dragnet.

Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Ross:  Good quality shirts typically costing $25+ for $12 and under?  You betchya, but not all the time and not necessarily in your size.  It's a hunt-and-peck operation.

/ex g/f worked at Ross, found some great buys while killing time.

I see you've already covered my main gripe.

So, he steals from one store he works at, to sell the items at another store he owns. A real criminal mastermind at work here.

"Prices so low, they should be criminal."

They didn't try to blame it all on the 'sales associates'.

When I said a similar thing after my trip to Thailand people were all up in arms over it.
