Sgygus: They bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into.

A pressurized aluminum tube that's hurled high through the air at ungodly speeds by the constant expulsion of extremely hot gasses resulting from burning a highly volatile petroleum product that's been vaporized and mixed with air inside another metal tube containing titanium blades spinning at over ten-thousand RPM while the whole thing is held aloft by flexible tanks filled with kerosene and guided through the air by small metal strips that are controlled by a computer with only minimal input from the pilot?

Sounds like fun.

Better airline? Submitter, if you had bothered to even check a little, Asiana is one of the very few to get a 5 star airline rating from skytraxx which is pretty much the industry standard.  http://www.airlinequality.com/Airlines/OZ.htm

You forgot that it doesn't sound American so it must clearly be an evil socialist, communist, fascist, islamic, jewish, atheist airline.

Asiana are pretty shiat. I mean they aren't United or American shiat but they aren't Cathay or SQ either.

More importantly, they are Korean, or course they are denying responsibility.

They can sue of for a lot more than that.

OK, these are gross generalizations, but I've noticed that every foreign country I visit for work has people who are a pain in the ass in a way characteristic of that country .    The universal is that people will pay you money to help them, then they will somehow vex your attempts to help.

I've flown with them a couple of times, and my experiences were generally favorable. Go figure.
