(Daily Mail)   Michael J. Fox talks about living with Parkinson's and with humor he can still dance all night, play all day. Don't let nothing get in the way. Dance all night, keep the beat. Don't you worry about two left feet. Shake it up. Yeah, shake it up   (dailymail.co.uk ) divider line 23

Has anyone seen that video of a Parkinson's suffer switching on and off this device in his head that controlled his shaking?

I know it doesn't work for all Parkinson's suffers but the demonstration was incredible. And very sad. Normal with the device on, and a quivering, shaking wreck with it turned off.

Can't remember the name of the video but smartypants Farkers should find it easily.

A friend of the family suffered from Parkinson's. It was horrible to watch the progression. This was 20+ years ago so treatments and what not have gotten better thankfully.

FTFA:   Michael J. Fox talks about living with Parkinson's disease in promo for show in which his character shares his disorder

If he was such a good actor, why not play a character that DOESN'T share his disorder?  Eh?  Eh?  Amirite?

/just kidding, I love Michael J. Fox

That surgery does not work for all Parkinson's sufferers; specific criteria must be met in order to qualify for this surgery. That said, it can be life-changing for Parkinson's patients or those who suffer from depression, neuro-motor trauma, tremors, and some forms of OCD.

Okay, I laughed out loud when he was trying to scoop eggs on the plate. "Can we not have personal victories? Because we're all starving."

I might actually have to watch this.

He did a pretty good job with confronting his disability on the couple of episodes of Scrubs he was on.

I've seen something similar but the guy was smoking weed instead of turning on a device. Made me cry.
