(Huffington Post)   Bernard Madoff was in a love triangle with a former employee. Which is no surprise since without triangles you can't make a pyramid   (huffingtonpost.com) divider line 44

Ok, if no one else is going to do it, I will.  Madoff ran a Ponzi scam not a pyramid scheme.

I've seen the pictures of these women(can't be bothered to go find them now), and none of them are beauties, or look like they can be any fun at all.  Have you ever seen his ex interviewed?  No barrel of laughs there.  Sad really.  Despite all that money, his game is so bad, he still couldn't get a hot, or interesting, woman.

Madoff's former mistress, Sheryl Weinstein.
A married woman, she lost all her family's money to his scam.

you are assuming it's a woman.

Still, it likely was:
Eric Breslin, a lawyer for former investment advisory employee Joann Crupi, said he didn't know which defendant was in the purported "love triangle."

"It's just kind of strange," Breslin said of the filing.

Besides Crupi, the defendants include former operations manager Daniel Bonventre, former investment advisory employee Annette Bongiorno, and former computer programmers Jerome O'Hara and George Perez.

Now, of those job titles, which one sounds like a made up position where no real work is required that you give to a mistress when you keep her on the payroll?

Damn double farked her. What did he do when they were done? Poop on the floor and wipe his butt with her curtins?

I think in the grand scheme of things adultery aint the worst thing he has done.

Fark Madoff & Fark the government for putting ONLY HIM in jail in the entire 2008 financial scandal.

He was NOT EVEN RELATED to it!

He bilked old Jews in Florida out of their hard earned pension money, as well as Israelis (Technion had a large endowment w/him).

Farkers should be jumping for JOY at Madoff... he went after their most hated state (both Florida & Israel).

/Typical... hold up a minority as a token scapegoat and business as usual again.
//Did the S&P get investigated for grading AAA on crap?  NO!
///Did Country-Wide employees go to jail?  NO!!!   But Madoff... oh him... we got him!

TFA says three men and two women. Four were in relationships with one another. So if those four were in heterosexual relationships, then there's a man out (or in, as it were).

Oh please let that be true.

When one of 'your people' is held up as a scapegoat for a financial melt-down he did not cause... we'll see how you feel, buddy.

Especially when that person screwed trusting old Jewish people and an Israeli college of their money.  Yeah... nice justice system we have here in America.

The media is complicit in this circle jerk too... holding him up as some sort of important person the government caught... his OWN SONS ratted him out for fark sakes.

How is that a triangle? Don't triangles require three points, each connected to each of the other two? Unless Bernie and this employee were also both farking a third person, it's not a triangle, just a wedge or something. A "V"? Something. But not a triangle.

Were you not paying attention?

Most of what happened during the '08 meltdown was perfectly legal...thanks to neoconservatives and spineless Democrats repealing banking safeguards that had worked just fine since the Great Depression. (Glass-Steagal, etc)

Hate bankers all you want...I'll help...and despise the pols who bailed them out...I'm right there with ya...but most of that crap wasn't illegal.

Idiotic, amoral, expensive, easily prevented, and counter-productive...but not illegal.

I was paying attention... I wrote my state representative about bringing back the Glass-Steagal act that would prohibit banks from playing Vegas with our savings.

I got a very nice and detailed letter back... which included references to my High School activities (no doubt from research in my year book)... boy, that was a fun experience with Democracy.
