I've never seen Obama dressed like that.

Is this one of those phony scandals I've been hearing about lately?

2013-08-11 11:41:43 PM
Does this mean Obama will not win Missouri in 2016?

2013-08-11 11:45:05 PM
I hate going to that state for work.

2013-08-12 12:10:24 AM
The announcer wanted to know if anyone would like to see Obama run down by a bull. The crowd went wild. He asked it again and again, louder each time, whipping the audience into a lather.

Oh, FFS.

Can Obama satire-gate be a meme now?

It's just some ham-fisted political joke. Now get that stick our of your butt.

I've been assured by 3 local racists that this is totally not racist.

Halloween masks are a bit of a stretch there, cowboy. And unless the clown also did blackface and do a watermelon routine, I'd say that it's just harmless fun.

And as someone who remember the vitriol directed towards the president 01-08 hearing about people getting mad about this:

Cue up the Monday's Politico article stating that the Obama Rodeo Clown is at least 50% his fault because he's failed to "connect" with rural white voters.

I can't help but laugh at all the "balanced" politicos and talkinghead media residing in Washington and NYC who can't bring themselves to come to grips about how virulently racist huge swaths of the country are.   The people who said that Immigration Reform was going to pass for no other reason than because the Krauthammers and the Noonans said  Republicans needed it at the end of the day.   They have absolutely no farking clue what America is like out of their insulated bubble.   There was absolutely no way in hell any elected offical from "Real Murica" was going to touch Immigration Reform with a 1000 foot pole.    It's political career death.

I really don't care. We mocked Bush pretty intensely. It doesn't appear to be racist so whatever.

Yes. There's nothing to be outraged about. It's just a bunch of rubes acting like children. I'd say the same thing if a Dick Cheney effigy was being run over by a Prius in Berkeley. And you know how I feel about that guy.

It only does because you're already looking for excuses to hate them. Nobody sheds a tear when a politician is being chased by a bull.

Besides, rodeos are more of a Texas thing. I never knew they had them in the show-me state.

And what's with that Dixie Chicks non-sequitor? Did the article forget to mention that it's a reunion of Dixie Chick haters?

No, turning a rodeo into a political statement is a total douche move and I would say even if that was a guy in a Bush mask out there.

And "hate"? Really? Life's too short to hate every idiot you encounter along the way.

Mocking the ignorant is not the same thing as hating them.

This isn't about being offended by a guy in a halloween mask any more, is it?

I enjoy going to rodeos, it's a really good time.

At a rodeo in rural Montana (Lincoln) my wife and I overheard three cowboys wearing crisp new super white western shirts and wranglers so tight you could count the change in their pockets talking about a woman walking by, one cowboy said to his buddies "I'd like to bend her over a barrel and ass rape her til she cries!"

This sounds just about as classy.

I know csb...

I didn't see that movie, but thought it was tasteless as all hell to do a presumably biased biopic of a SITTING president. Oliver Stone plateaued with "Platoon" and should have just farking retired on top with "Natural Born Killers."

We all have rights, and their shouldn't be any law against making films about existing presidents, but it's just in poor taste. Let the man hop on Marine One for the last time and then skewer his legacy.

Yeah, don't think anyone attending this event (or at best a vanishingly small percentage) ever watched that show. However, they did listen to country music, and they did get very angry at The Dixie Chicks.

Country stations across the United States have pulled the Chicks from playlists following reports that lead singer Natalie Maines said in a concert in London earlier this week that she was "ashamed the president of the United States is from Texas."

Her London comment angered many country music fans and caused radio stations to pull Dixie Chicks music from their playlists. The Chicks said they received death threats, leading them to install metal detectors at their shows.

Do you think this rodeo clown is going to receive any death threats?

Maybe it's a positive sign of race relations progress when we can goof on a black president the same way we have goofed on our white presidents for centuries.

So chins up, Democrats, and feel this positive new vibe.

I don't know. Firstly, Bush the Lesser wasn't technically supposed to be president in the first place, if we're being democratic about it, and secondly, he was an objectively terrible President who made very bad decisions. Obama is mostly getting shiat on about things he had no control over such as the already massive deficit put in place. I'll blame him for the crappy healthcare law but only because he tried to be too bipartisan and skipped single payer for the Heritage Foundation version.

Well, in defense of the whiny liberals, Clinton and Bush were both white and they feel like they have to bend over backwards to treat blacks like toddlers.  Every white liberal in America turns into a helicopter parent regarding Obama.
