Brewmasters was pretty entertaining, I'm surprised it didn't last.  The Chica episode was icky, but otherwise I found it enjoyable.

I could see a sitcom revolving around a brewery working.  I hope they do set it in Delaware.  TV shows set in Delaware are woefully underrepresented.

Came here for this.. That show was ok for the first few episodes until it started to be predictably annoying and absurd.

Love going there when I visit my folks in DE, trying out the new beers is fun. I need to go to the restaurant they have down the street from me, they have an excellent French dip there. Just wish they would distill their own vodka like at the restaurant in Rehoboth.

That show was sorta interesting, but got too predictable:
1. Let's make a new crazy beer for event X under a short deadline
2. Oh Noes! Trouble at the brewery!
3. Let's take a side trip
4. Will the beer be any good?  Yes!
5. Repeat.

Sam has always been a bit on the weird side - rapping, dabbling in restaurants, TV, etc.  Beer is just the way he's made a name for himself.

yeah, that was a lot of my takeaway from the show. Being a brewer myself, I feel the show shouldve hopped from one brewery to another each season, but it turned into a personality piece about Sam himself instead of giving the viewer a real look into the brewing industry.
there is a lot more going on in a brewery on a daily basis and whole episodes and story archs can revolve around the various departments and even the dynamics of the behind the scenes action of a tasting room/pub's staff and patrons.

I've never eaten at their brewpub, but I really enjoy a number of their beers.  They take a lot of risks and come out with some odd combinations, some work, some don't, and some are going to be polarizing.

I love the 60 Minute IPA and the Immort Ale.  Neither are overly hoppy.  I'll usually buy a bottle of the special releases they put out to try, and some I've loved (Positive Contact is a real winner) and some I've not been impressed with (I thought the Namaste was fairly bland).

If you're from the area have you been to Iron Hill Brewery?  I used to go to the original location in Newark, DE fairly often when I lived there.  I actually prefer some of their beers to DFH, but they don't distribute, so I'm out of luck unless I'm visiting home.  Their Samurai Saison and Rauchbier are both awesome if you go by and see the on the menu, and their food is top notch (best hummus I've ever had, and their crab cakes are legit).
