It almost looks photoshopped, especially that one guy staring right at the camera, but I know this is real.

I wonder how many people fall off of the trains when they're piled on like that.

BizarreMan: I wonder how many people fall off of the trains when they're piled on like that.

Especially packed on the sides so close to the wheels.  Some lose weight during Ramadan and some lose height.

Saw a Liveleak video recently where some guy standing on top of a moving train smacks his head into a low bridge.

I'm telling you, those discount tickets just aren't worth it.

Honest question: Does it cost money to ride on the train, when you sit on the roof or hang onto one of those hand grips? Or is it just an unstoppable mass of hobos?

This is why you see headlines like "47 killed in bicycle accident." coming out of that part of the world.

Now I've been happy lately, thinking about the good things to come
And I believe it could be, something good has begun

I love the comments on Daily Fail:

"why not have ramadam in winter???" Ramadan is the name of a month! Your question is like asking, 'Why not have August in the winter?'!!! - LAW, Somerset, 8/8/2013 10:31 ------ In the southern hemisphere August is in Winter! Doh!

An uninformed zinger to an uninformed insult to an uniformed comment.

What do you expect when 100,000 people all stick their ass up into the air at once?

Some days I wish I was a terrorist, because that train would make an awesome target. What do you think the body count would be if you blew it up? A hundred to two hundred people?

2013-08-08 03:56:02 PM
Seen it done in Egypt, too. And then people always freak when a train at 60x capacity derails :/

2013-08-08 03:56:53 PM
Thanks, I'll just wait for the next one.

Fun fact, a lot of Muslims put on weight during Ramadan because they stuff their face after sunset.

I came here to say the train ride looks like fun.

And someone else comes here wishing he could kill all those people.

Seems like a strategically placed underpass about a half mile from each train station would solve this problem. Hell it wouldn't even need to be an underpass, just a metal frame with about an 8 inch clearance would work.

2013-08-08 04:05:37 PM
You'd think they would lay on more trains. It's not like it should catch anybody by surprise that everyone wants to split after work.

Hopefully the train driver isn't from Spain.

I guess just be on the first car.  Being in/on the caboose has a whole 'nother meaning now.

You guys are so uncreative.  I can think of much more inventive ways to brutally kill several hundred people.

Always makes me wonder why they are not simply running more trains. Those people pay to ride it, no?

When you have 200 meter long trains departing every 2 minutes and they are still packed, then you are pretty much screwed in the "just run more trains" department...

Am I the only one who expected the article to be about subby's mom?

I think they actually pay for tickets, but the train company sells more tickets than there are seats available.

All they are missing is an epic sword fight on the roof.

I wondered the same - then I tried to imagine a conductor going through the train with "Tickets, please!" or "Any new travelers since our last stop?".
I guess a single price system where you pay upon entering the train station could work...

Cramming onto the roof of a moving train isn't normal... but on monotheism it is.

Because a big bag would feed Everyone on the train........ and only Jesus is allowed to do that.
His month is in December. Eid is for Muslim fasting, so it's just a little bag.

What about pressure cookers on airplanes?  It was right there and you missed it.

Anyone notice how morbidly obese these people are? Good thing they'll be fasting for a month...... they need it.
