Dragons are mentioned in the Bible! They're like totally real dude!

There's historical evidence for dragons.

793 In this year terrible portents appeared over Northumbria, and miserably frightened the inhabitants; these were exceptional flashes of lightning, and fiery dragons were seen flying in the air. A great famine soon followed these signs; and a little after that in the same year on 8 January the harrying of the heathen miserably destroyed God's church in Lindisfarne by rapine and slaughter. And Sicga passed away on 22 February.

Creationism is worthless because creationists propose no mechanism and thus eliminate any means of testing.

Creationism is not false because it occasionally needs correcting.

But is is telling saying that Nessie is not evidence anymore but something that is even more absurd, dragons, is.

creationism is worthless because it is basically "there was nothing and then magic happened".

there is no such thing as magic.

Feh. The creationism thing is settled. We don't have any good trolls on the subject anymore. A conversation about whether a child's right to be educated, so as not to be a moronic lummox weighing down society, outweighs a fundie's right to indoctrinate those unfortunate enough to be born under their custodianship, may be more useful.

There are also reports that Elvis is still alive.   It does not make it true or even credible.

That some scribe a thousand years ago believed some nameless person or persons over what they thought they saw in the distance is pretty much worthless as evidence.

Creationists are clearly showing their anti-science bias by ignoring the existence of Nessie.  After all the evidence that has been provided by drunken Scotsmen over the years?  Next they will be telling us that there is no evidence of anything under their kilts.

Anything humans have written about is real. That's really their argument. Because floods happen and people write about them, there must have been a global flood. Because there are large creatures written about in various locations, they must have been real and must have been dinosaurs. I love this line of thinking. I postulate that because the ancients wrote about many gods, that there are, in fact, many gods. Why are we falsely worshiping one? HAIL POSEIDON!

Meh. If you're going to worship a god, go with a hipster one, like Mithras. Half of Christianity's rituals are stolen from Mithraism, anyway.

According to current mainstream paleontology, they actually do exist today, I mean, we tend to call them birds nowadays, but still.

a young earth creationist asked about hikers getting attacked by Dragons in the Cascades near Seattle.  I told him it wasn't warm enough long enough in this far North in the Cascades for Dragons to establish all the way up here.

Gee, you'd think that this would be a tough line to take for Creationists, given how many people claim to have had encounters with extra-terrestrials. Since people write about having seen them, space aliens are real, QED.

But the Bible only mentions one world and one sentient species that God created. Aliens aren't mentioned in the Bible, and therefore, are not real. QED.
