Her first role, I think, was Dawn's friend on Buffy back in the day. (The Halloween episode where Dawn gets her first kiss from a boy that turns out to be a vampire.)

That was Amber Tamblyn? I did not know that. I only remember her from Joan of Arcadia before all her movies.

This still won't make me watch Two and a Half Men, though. It's had its run and needs to end.

Jesus Christ Chuck....just kill the farking show already....It was passable at the beginning,  fair towards the end of Sheen's run, and utterly horrible with Kutcher (though I don't assign blame to him for the suckiness)....just end it and live comfortably off the royalty checks.

No! Cryer refuses to go back to everyone calling him "Duckie".

Is she going to look as schleppy as she did on House? Of course, when you are on screen with Olivia Wilde and Odette Yustman it is hard to look good.

At this point I think Lorre is just keeping it alive to piss off Sheen.

Good enough reason for me.

Now if they let her keep the bikini parade going like Sheen's character did, I'll still watch.

They are somewhat similar, but between the two Bloom is definitely the winner.

Sadly, my dad is part of that demographic, he thinks it's the funniest thing ever. He only watches the reruns with Sheen, though, he doesn't like the new cast(s).

Your depressing fact for today...

With 11 seasons, Two & A Half Men is now tied with M*A*S*H and Cheers for length of run.

Come back next season for your suicidal fact of the day when Two & A Half Men becomes longer running than Cheers or M*A*S*H

Not that Two and a Half Men had any dignity to begin with to qualify as jumping the shark.  But it did cross my mind that with one more appearance on a show at it's tail end, Amber Tamblyn could quickly become the new Ted McGinley.  Bonus points if they name her Bo.

The All-Powerful Atheismo: Two Men and the Desperate Attempt To Appeal To Men's Dicks

Amber Tamblin is a pitiful way to appeal to my penis, mightier than the sword.

First, they need to kill off that pussy of a man, Alan Harper. Next, add some sexy, young, FEMALE strippers, and turn the show into a half hour 'STRIP-COM'.

/ Keep the name of the show the same. Who cares. We'll have strippers.

Gunsmokeand the original  Law & Order each ran for 20 years. So did Kelsey Grammer's portrayal of Frasier Crane, between  Cheersand  Frasier [and Wings - He's the only guy to get Emmy awards for the same character in three categories.]

The  Degrassi Jr. High / Degrassi High/ School's OutDegrassi: The Next Generation continuity has seventeen active years (even excluding the original  Kids of Degrassi Street, which was a separate continuity, the issues talk show,  Degrassi Talks, and the time between 1993-2001 when it was dark.)  Stefan Brogren has been playing Snake Simpson on that show (under its various names) since 1987.

As for cartoons,  The Superfriends and  Scooby Doo have extraordinary staying power too.
