Is it me, or has robbing a bank become a really easy and lucrative job as long as you put 5 minutes of planning into it anymore?

A bank in Chicago was robbed by a man with a Bulls cap.  That narrows the field of suspects right down, doesn't it?

You also have to keep your mouth shut and not get shot by your partner(s), but basically yes.

Also remember not to fill out a job application with your name and address before pulling the gun out.

Yes, indeed. I like how it's captioned, just in case you were confused.

Pretty much. CSB time- I was a bank teller for a few years and was robbed. The guy walked up said 'I have a gun. Give me money (direct quote).' I handed him a handful of $20 and before I could get him more, he just bolted for the door. Then he completed daring escape on a pink child's bike (seriously). He only got a couple hundred from me, no big loss. But the whole ordeal was worth it once the man wearing a cowboy hat, a red Hawaiian shirt, cowboy boots and cut off jorts came in and started wading through the sea of cops towards the teller window. One of the cops put his hand out and said the bank is closed. The guy flipped out an FBI badge and said 'Not for me' and kept going without breaking stride. And here I was thinking they all wore suits. The more you know...

It's been a long time since it required planning to rob a teller.  You say "gimme the money" and they give you the money.  That's been the policy for years and years.

If you want to empty the vault, however, that still requires planning.
