Mosquitoes are pretty much universally reviled, I'd hate to be their publicist.

That just made me vasoconstrict.

Can't we just use all these mass-extinction powers humans have to get rid of parasites?  All of them?  Yech.

How do you even get an image like that?  I mean, it was a living tissue sample, you could see the blood flowing in the vessels and all; how do people do that?

Also: gross.

I eat garlic almost every day, haven't had a mosquito bite in over ten years. So suck it.

Unfortunately, mosquitoes and thier larvae are a crucial tier 1 food source for freshwater fish and frogs.

Its pretty easy if you want to do it at home.  Get a goldfish, put it under a generic microscope on the highest setting.  You can watch its vascular system move.

Yup. Doesn't always work on the bigger stuff like wasps and whatnot. Enough juice to knock them out of the sky, though. That's when you pin 'em down and wait for smoke.

Cool.
Also, if you flex your muscle, or pull your skin just right while one is sucking, it can't pull out and will explode. It's messy and you will have the biggest, itchiest bump ever though...
