Now how can any woman resist the smoldering good looks of that handsome guy?

At this point maybe every woman in the greater San Diego area who Filner hasn't harassed, groped, or inappropriately propositioned should just go ahead and raise their hands.

What else is there to say, Dems and Farklibs think that this type of stuff is funny if you're a democrat. If this was a Republican, Farklibs would be calling for his head and feminists would be protesting the patriarchy. But, since this is guy and Weiner are Dems, Farklibs are going out of their way to play this off as a joke.

I'm not laughing.

You are tiresome and transparent.  And that is all I will say.  You're not even worth putting on Ignore.

Yup, definitely dems

That totally doesn't count. It counters the narrative that Democrats are waging the real war on women, so it must be expunged from the record.

"I think it's time for the city to post a warning sign outside of the mayor's office, warning women to proceed at their own risk. They should be told that the mayor is in his office and danger may lie ahead."

The city has already instituted a policy that no woman can be in his company alone. I guess in case she won't cooperate and he needs help to subdue her.

whoa whoa whoa, my weeners was not a joke about the situation, it was a joke at Filner. I find him to be a creepy, despicable man, but at some point, being angry all the time isn't enough, you need to laugh and let it out. I made this headline because of the sheer absurdity of the situation that this guy has gotten himself into. There are times to be pissed and times to point and laugh at people (like what we're doing to you in this thread)

For reference, I point you to my headline in the aftermath of last year's Sikh shooting:

How the Hammerskins became a major hate group, and not just the name for the gay steel industry

Apparently we can't joke about Boehner being an orange, chain-smoking alcoholic who cries at the drop of a hat and still think he's seriously ineffective if not downright dangerous.

Trolling...serious business.

Now that I think about it, Aristocles has effectively threadjacked us once again.  I think he's a Filner supporter and is trying to take the heat off the guy.  It's all clear to me now.

The 1st person to post to the thread (I think that's what the filter is blocking?) did not express any political opinion.  He seems to have an anti-Obama parody of Bohemian Rhapsody on his profile.  Why did you assume he was a liberal?

And in case that "weenerss" was supposed to be a plural, the other two posters before your Boobies seem to me to be pretty clearly anti-Filner, even if they are making jokes about it.  I think I would see the same jokes if Filner were a Republican.   If you're going to make the thread about "calling for his head", I'm sure they would support that as well.

probably a mixture of both, like we are with Weiner and Filner

It also depends on the situation. If it was getting caught asking for a blowie in an airport bathroom, then that's just too stupid not to mock, if it was a rape and murder of someone, then we'd be ready to crucify them.

And that was the point behind all of the stories I mentioned. Mark Sanford, David Vitter, Daniel Stout, and Tom Coburn have all committed what most Americans would consider a gross sexual atrocity, yet all have been elected or re-elected since 2010 after their transgressions were revealed. My guess is there have been Democratic candidates who have won an election after revelations of sexual misdeeds, but my mind is drawing a blank right now.

My impression is that the libs in these threads aren't so much "calling for their heads" (at least not in all those cases) as much as gloating over the hypocrisy of "family values" conservatives.  The feminists are generally more up in arms about actual policy that affects women around the country than individual cases of cheating or sexual misconduct.
