Well, turn up the A/C. That's what it's for.

It's sad that just simply taking federal aid for a disaster is what makes you a strong candidate in your party.

The room gets very hot when Chris Christie and Hillary Clinton are inside. This is of course due to (fat joke here) and (PMS joke here).

Isn't Hillary a little old to be getting PMS?

Question, is there anything stopping a democrat or a republican from picking someone from the other side as their running mate.

Clinton/Christie 2016!
Christie/Clinton 2016!

Uh, with Christie, it's the other way round: his paling around with Obama has hurt him among Republicans nationally.

Or are you just stupid?

It's a much sadder state of affairs when your "State's Rights" party cuts all state-wide emergency funding for known yearly disasters, then cry about the feds not giving you enough money when the yearly disasters happen, all while you are also complaining that the fed should stop handing out money to other disaster victims in other states.

'I'm not sure that your average tea-bagger hates Christie for taking the money, as much as they hate him for thanking Obama/the feds. He'd probably be a Republican hero if he turned around, held up a giant Publisher's Clearing House Prize check signed from Obama, and said "Our stupid socialist President only gave us THIS? This will only get us 10 bootstraps!"

Of course, the thing that the current batch of Republicans don't get is that "everybody who is not a Rush listener" actually LIKE to see members of both parties shake hands, get deals done, and shake hands with smiles for the camera.

Those two making it to the finals would make for the most "meh" election in history.
They're both washed up politicos with too much history to be taken seriously.

You won't get any useful policy from that lot, just alot of mud flinging.

/Which is a shame. They could have run and lost on the same ticket, then we'd never have to hear from either one again.

Pretty much.  A couple years on, and names like Marco Rubio and Elizabeth Warren will be better known as PAC's will be throwing money at them.

Chris Christie should keep in mind that people like him because he is seemingly normal and not a shiat eating maniac like most from his party, so keep the rhetoric in check fat man.

Right.  Remember, when the 2008 election was going to be Clinton vs. Giuliani?

This, combined with Hillary repeatedly saying that she has no intention to run, and the Republican party's rage against anyone who dares to say anything but "NO, F*CK YOU" to Democrats, the assumption that it'll be Christie vs. Clinton seems particularly dumb.
