Would have been easier just to whitewash the whole thing.

7 years and the perpetrators are "unknown"??  It's obviously a co-worker.  Put up some surveillance cameras or install card-readers for access to all the facilities.

/you should be using card-readers instead of keys anyway.

Yeah subby, someone suing their employer after years of on the job harassment without the employer doing anything is asinine.

2013-08-06 06:08:40 PM
Jesus Christ at asinine, Did you even read any aspect of the article subby?

Im gonna assume you didn't and are not a monster.

Was ready to be outraged, then read TFA. Outrage now correctly placed on Nashville Metro. That's a long time to allow that to happen and not actively search for the perp, which equates to condoning the harassment.

FTA: "The complaint characterizes Buckner, 48, as a fit individual who takes care of his appearance. "He is the victim of same sex gender stereotyping, and perceived by both his co-workers and his supervisors as being homosexual," it reads."

So he's metro or something?

Best part is, the victim says he's not gay, just metrosexual. Fellers who work for the Naishville public transportation don't cotton to that mess.

Time to go write myself a minivan...

That's an awful lot of effort to go through because you disagree with someone else's lifestyle.
Why care at all?
1. It's someone that is NOT YOU, so mind your own farking business.
2. It doesn't have any bearing on you.
3. It's not contagious.
I'm not gay but I couldn't care less that some are as it has zero impact on my life.
People are so farking ignorant they're the ones that actually don't belong.

Sounds like a coworker was responsible for the graffiti and management couldn't be bothered, so I don't have a problem with the pay-out.

That's insane!

I bet he is doing the graffiti, just for attention and/or monetary gain. They seriously need to set up a hidden camera sting before paying him any money.

Also, FARK needs a Tennessee tag.

48 year-old fit guy?
Dude's gay or a movie star.

Well, seems these are areas only he and his coworkers can access, so, yeah, get your payday dude.

Seems that from what little information there is, the Metro didn't really bother to address the problem, but also, it almost implies he might not actually gay, just someone "who takes care of his appearance. "

Is it harassment, or misdirected flirting?

I misread that as giraffe. It's much funnier that way.

"Anti-gay giraffe in workplace..."
