They've already announced their followup game, in which you have to use the arrow keys to block flying birth control pills from getting in Sandra Fluke's mouth. If you succeed for a long enough time, she becomes impregnated, and then the game shifts to one where you have to block her path as she makes her way to an abortion clinic.

If you're talking about Texas Ann Richards, she died in 2006.

So probably not running.

To be fair she would be at least as charismatic as any of the other GOP candidates in her current condition.

While blocking her from the abortion clinic you have to herd her into a kitchen, steal her shoes, and have her make you a sandwich for the win.

Dammit, man, the word is SAMMICH!

Car_Ramrod: Satan's Bunny Slippers: I really really really really really REALLY hope Hillary doesn't run.  Why?  Because the gopers are so busy being afraid of her and anything remotely connected to her, they will be even less prepared for whomever is nominated.

I want Hillary and Pelosi to announce they're running, then drop out right at the beginning of the primaries. It would be a glorious bait and switch.

That would be ....be.....man, I'd want that announcement on DVR to keep forever and ever!

It would be the perfect storm, like someone divided the gopers by zero.

Wellon Dowd: Republicans are REALLY afraid of everything. Scared shiatless.

I've always had this view of Republicans...well, conservatives as..ok, metaphor time.

So the conservatives are like a child, home alone. Parents are out. While home alone, they start to fear there is a MONSTER IN THE BASEMENT!!(basically, any non-WASP) Now, to prevent the monster from getting out of the basement, they slap all sorts of locks and deadbolts on the door(poll taxes, anti-sodomy, anti-abortion, etc) because if the monster gets out, it will DESTROY AMERICA!!!!!

By now, the parents of the child(pretty much the rest of the country) show up, and explains to the child that the monster is actually some oppressed people who just want to come out of the basement and be treated as equals. The parents begin to take off the deadbolts and locks(ie DOMA overturned), the child begins to flail more and more wildly, absolutely terrified that the monster is going to get out and DESTROY EVERYTHING. Meanwhile, the parents are patiently continuing to try to explain that nothing will happen, but any action they perform is dismissed as being in league with the monster, and so the parents are added to the list of TERRIBLE EVIL THINGS. The child frantically begins trying to put those deadbolts and locks back on, but meanwhile those people in the basement start to get pissed off and start pushing back.

Now the child starts to really fear. After all that time of keeping in the basement, the child is terrified of what the people in the basement will do if they get free. The anti-people-in-the-basement actions get crazier and wilder, and at the same time the child says he just wants to keep the "monster" in the basement for everyone's protection. Meanwhile, the parents and the "monster" are getting tired of this shiat, and are about ready to send the child to its room to think about what its done.

Of course, through the glory of self-victimization, the child is now blaming everything that went wrong in its life on its parents and the "monster", even though no harm has actually been caused.

So..yea. That's my take on it.

robertus: hubiestubert: The woman they fear? Ann Richards. She ever gets her dander up to run again, then you are going to see real fear. Hillary just inspires rage, and worse, it's a rage that's been denied and festered a bit. It does drive folks to do some damn stoopid crap, but let's not confuse the two.

To be fair, if Ann Richards ran for office in 2016, I'd be pretty terrified.

Why are you afraid of a strong liberal zombie candidate?

The GOP needs games that are more patriotic. Like a game where you play as the GOP patron saint, Ronald Reagan. You would be able to walk left or right, depending on what arrow button you pressed, but the screen would constantly be moving rightward so if you go too far to the left, you will fall off the screen and die. You have to keep going right in order to survive. Ever, ever rightward. There would be an American flag at the end that you have to jump to (the higher you touch the flagpole, the more points you get) whereupon the Reagan character drags down the flag and replaces it with a Confederate flag, signaling the end of the level.

Throughout the levels there would be pipes, dangerous plants, weapons for Reagan to use and hamburgers that Reagan can eat to grow bigger. You can sell weapons you find for more points, but if you do that, then enemies in future levels will have the weapons you sold, so be careful!

I think there is a game similar to this that the GOP can just have some Chinese sweatshop slaves reverse-engineer and use it as a base for this new game. That would make development a lot easier for them.

nmrsnr: Remember, any racism or misogyny you infer from any of the GOP or their affiliates' actions is purely a product of your own imagination, and shows that you are truly the bigoted one.

I would imagine if a similar "game" depicting Sarah Palin had been out there during the 2008 campaign, the GOP would have been okay with it and Fox News would not have dedicated 40% of its broadcast day fretting about it.
