HighOnCraic: PsiChick: Captain Dan: PsiChick: Seriously, you know what characterizes supervillains? Not lack of humanity.  Sheer. F*cking. Stupidity. Be a supervillain, you get pummeled. Be a superhero, you get  everything you want.

I disagree completely.  Being smart is great, but it's no guarantee that one will act altruistically.  Many of history's worst people were intelligent.  Also, many of comic history's worst villains (Magneto!  Apocalypse!  Doctor Doom!  Lex Luthor!).

Being dumb is nothing to be proud of, but I'd sooner cheer for a dumb, compassionate, and kind person than a smart, cynical, self-absorbed one.

The Republican Party is a prime example of dumb, compassionate, and kind--because they can't think things through logically, they  honestly don't realize how cruel they're being. Hilary's ideas have been at best decent.

/And Magneto had PTSD, he shouldn't be on that list.

I think listing ANY fictional characters as evidence that smart people can be evil was a bad idea.

/Why not list Reed Richards, Sherlock Holmes, Spock, and Encyclopedia Brown as evidence that smart people are always good?
//Oh right, 'cause that's just as silly.

Holy fark, that came out of nowhere.

+1 to you, good sir.

hiker9999: Satan's Bunny Slippers: I really really really really really REALLY hope Hillary doesn't run.  Why?  Because the gopers are so busy being afraid of her and anything remotely connected to her, they will be even less prepared for whomever is nominated.

OK..... President Biden, it is, then!

/imagine the number Rightie strokes and aneurisms that would trigger.
//not that I have a problem with that.

It's spelled "aneurysm".  Maybe you ought to put down your PBR and pick up a dictionary at the ironic used book store.

My favorite part is the reason they list as why:  "Biden is an idiot!  He says stupid things, sometimes!"

Yeah.  An obvious disqualifier for any modern Republican voter.

Am I the only one who thought of Interactive Buddy when they heard of this?

I am not clicking the link to find out, but it sounds similar.

Oh look at all the fake concern.

From the same guys who slag off that female blogger who dared to make videos about sexist tropes in video games, which resulted in a game being made where you could beat her up.  I can guarantee the guys who made that game were not Republicans.

Didn't you all say it was a joke and no big deal and it was her own fault for being a woman with an opinion anyway?

So nothing to see here.

I agree there's nothing to see here. I remember as a younger person playing plenty of games where I could beat the crap out of George W. Bush, so what's the difference? So Hillary is a women, doesn't make this innately sexist folks. Just means people like imagining beating up on people they hate.

DarwiOdrade: The GOP still manages to surprise me with the depths to which they will sink.

Holy balls.  Someone got paid to do that.  I think that's a good thing; that's money that won't be spent doing something to actually persuade reasonable people to vote for them.

James!: Pocket Ninja: They've already announced their followup game, in which you have to use the arrow keys to block flying birth control pills from getting in Sandra Fluke's mouth. If you succeed for a long enough time, she becomes impregnated, and then the game shifts to one where you have to block her path as she makes her way to an abortion clinic.

After she has the baby you get to slap it around.

CSB:  I once interviewed for a job with Marilyn Vos Savant.  She's in the Guinness Book of World Records for having the highest IQ.  She didn't hire me, but I still don't think she's evil.

/I'm not so sure about Stephen Hawking, though. . .

Well, that's  closer, but you need to throw in some Star Wars or X-Men to be a True Nerd(tm).

/Sounds cool, though--although I'd hate to have an IQ that high.

Obviously Professor X, the Beast, Kitty Pryde, Cypher and Forge were all smarter than Magneto. . .  Therefore, the good guys win!
