I was expecting a joke.

There is no joke.  I thought the headlines around here were supposed to be snarky, etc.

Oddly enough I made a couple of sweet saves after fracturing my kidney playing a pickup soccer game once.  I saved a 51/49 ball as the forward slid into my back with his knee.  Took me about 5 minutes to walk it off.  Then I felt OK and played goalie for a bit more then played forward and scored a goal.  Then the pain got worse and we went to the ER.  Then the pain got much much worse and then there was morphine and ICU and internal bleeding and two weeks in the hospital... no surgery, but it was close.
