It's not like Lockheed Martin doesn't sell them to just about anyone with a nation state. I think their are, what, 2 countries it is prohibited from selling these to.

This doesn't make any sense.  Hellfires are air-to-ground missiles.

Maybe someone conjured up a clever contraption, but right now it reminds me of this...

Why do I get the feeling that it is going to come out in a couple if decades if not earlier that we sold those missiles to the jihadists directly.

/gotta create the problems we solve.

So what if we did? It's not like we've ever armed anyone and later come to regret it.

That's a TOW series launcher, a missile from it would read BGM-71 something

Yup.  It would seem that all explosives are WMDs when it comes to federal criminal law...

/and here I thought it was limited to CRBN weapons.

If I understand correctly, the legal usage of the term predates the more narrow CRBN definition.

1. That appears to be an AGM-114F (the "F" is barely visible on the plate) - I thought those were retired in 2010? And doesn't Egypt own some of those to this day?
2. Does it look suspicious to anyone else that, in the midst of Egypt cutting off aid & supplies to Palestine, this happens?

I'm baffled as to how three guys managed to attack an office building with an obsolete missile, known to be owned by the Egyptian military and designed to be fired from an aircraft...

How much of a missile is left over after a drone strike? Is it possible we're looking at something from a wedding party?

For a bunch of guys who hang around with a woman in her underwear, they look awfully gay.  Tights and ruffles?
