35E? From Flying Cloud?

Dear god -- you'd have to overrun the runway by more than 12 miles!

It's a private, corporate jet.

Do we reallycare about their well-being enough to warrant a scary tag?

Even if subster mistook Flying Cloud for HHH/Lindberg ... 35E is still a decent distance away.

That's no interstate. I can tell, having been on many interstates and seeing the ramps.

Actually, I-35E is an indecent distance away.

Well that sign couldn't be any more appropriate.

It would of have to been at the airport in St. Paul

Dumbass probably didn't check his descent rate and hit too far down.  Happens at PDK from time to time.

If subby mistook Flying Cloud for St. Paul Downtown, you'd be a lot closer, but you'd still have to cross the river first.

It's a big road with cars on it, but that's not important right now.

Well it's a long strip of concrete that cars drive on, but that's not important now...

I think subby wrote "35E" on purpose. Its all about writing a headliner.

For you that are trying to "correct" him, relax.

BTW... welcome to fark.

Even if it was MSP, you don't want to overshoot towards 35E.

It would of been a hell of an overshoot to be off by that much

It's an entirely different kind of highway, altogether.

HaHa,  depending on how long that road is closed it leads to one of the few ways to cross the river in the West metro because HW169 is down to single lane both directions for the month.

Isn't that kind f a roundabout way to avoid 169?

That's an awesome photo, Mr Photographer.

b3x:

Standard practice for the Star Tribune's site. What's even more fun is when an article becomes a 2-pager with nothing but the writer and their number on the second page.

Yeah I suppose but 101 is the next place to cross the river west of 169.
