Zima.  I'm not proud of it.  But there it is.

MD 20/20. I threw up a rainbow in my parent's driveway.

Some cheap whiskey my father was using as home made cold medicine.

Actually drunk? Cheap rum. Don't recall what brand. I was making homemade strawberry daiquiris with way too much booze. At one point I ran out of ice and just started using frost from the inside of the freezer. Then I decided the wallpaper in the bedroom sucked so I tore it all off. Then I went to sleep in the pile of laundry.

151 and Moosehead.  It was terrible.

Lamb's Navy rum.  I don't know why I remember this, because I sure as fark don't remember much else about that night.

Not because I was drunk, but because it was 20+ years ago.

Unsupervised at my friend Jerry's house, I drank a bottle of vodka (smirnoff?  maybe/probably) with two of my friends (Jerry and some other guy) when I was twelve.  We chugged down screwdrivers and  I was like "what's the big deal?" then it hit me and I got sick for hours and couldn't smell a screwdriver for about ten years.  We listened to Led Zeppelin 2 and I also stole a blinking yellow traffic light on the walk home.  That was the end of my deviancy pretty much

Sticky Hands: Some cheap whiskey my father was using as home made cold medicine.

I also ate a lot of fritos that night. Puked em up im the livingroom. Somehow my mother ignored the smell when i cleaned it up in the morning.

I was maybe 9 or 10.

Beer. Duh.

Wine/champagne.  I was 15 and it was a class trip to France.  We toured several wineries and could sample all we wanted.  Myself and the other kids in my group all got tanked the night before we left for home as well, and I learned reaaaal quick that getting on a transcontinental flight with a hangover is no way to go through life.

Wow, I am really glad you pointed that out. Not telling that story now....

One Mike's Hard Lemonade when I was 17. Pretty pathetic I know.

The black sheep of Canadian Liquors. A taste born of hoary nights, when men struggled to keep their fires lit and cabins warm.

Well vodka at a gay bar. So for all I know it could have been straight ethanol. That was only five years ago.

2013-08-04 01:03:36 AM
Some kind of punch, some gin, and some Goldschlager.

My first time drunk led to my first and worst hangover. Could barely keep water down the next day.

2013-08-04 01:03:48 AM
Come to think of it, I had been having alcoholic drinks since age 13 or 14 but it never really occurred to me to get drunk I was in my twenties.

2013-08-04 01:05:14 AM
Box wine unsure if red or white and I was 12 or maybe 11, sneaking it at my parent's anniversary party

2013-08-04 01:06:09 AM
Strawberry wine.

2013-08-04 01:06:24 AM
Probably PBR when I was 4. I don't remember much.

Later, bourbon & beer when I was 17.

Tonight PBR & Sam Adams Octoberfest.

Smirnoff Ice. There. I said it.

I was watching The Matrix and the final battle in the subway came up and I said "They're gonna get hit by the choo-choo."

I don't know, but I only submitted it as an interesting conversation starter (since I'm thinking about the first chance I get to have a few glasses of wine) and was pretty surprised they greened it.

Heh. Alright, now I'll tell that story. But not here. And not tonight (too tired). But I'll share it, even the long form version of it.

Bacardi Rum.

Did shots of it when I was 15.  Ate cheetos.  Puked cheetos all over a white throw rug.

And the Captain Morgan story in question was the night before/night OF my 21st bday- it was a Halloween party. I started the night dressed as a cat. I ended the night, 8 hours and 10ish shots later, dressed in a pair of red striped tights, a swimsuit, and a kid's pool floaty on my left arm. It was very The Hangover-esque.

Got drunk on? It was a mix of siphoned hard liqueur and I brought a 6-pack of whatever my dad was drinking at the time..
We stayed out in a tent that night, and it ended up raining like crazy. Thankfully her parents didn't come get us and it washed the vomit away.

Rum or something. I don't really remember. It was such a long time ago.

I spent the first night I was drunk searching for someone that got into a fight with a kid in a wheelchair.

And then disappeared.

Punch spiked with champagne at a wedding reception.  I think I was 12.

It made up for the extremely long, tedious, and boring traditional Catholic ceremony I was forced to endure.

Wine in Germany.  I was probably about 7.

My relatives all thought it was funny as hell that I was sloshed, hiccuping, and laughing.  My mother sent me to bed.

I was fine the next day.  My dad gave me another glass with dinner.  :)

WAIT NO!  I remember my first time drunk.

I was 11.  It was my cousin's engagement party and my uncle kept giving me glasses of champagne to drink.  I drank like 5-6 glasses.  THEN...I decided to join everyone in the Assyrian line dance.

My aunts were PISSED because I joined between them and I kept screwing up the rhythm.  Then I felt dizzy and had to sit down.

Champagne at a wedding at the age of 10 or so. Each of my relatives thought it'd be fine to give me a 1/4 glass of bubbly. I must've had a dozen quarter glasses

Europe does have much more lax standards on drinking. That's pretty awesome.

2 years ago, at work, we were serving kids some fruit punch for snack time.  Just those 2 liter bottles of red stuff.

Anyway, one of my kids (parents are French) goes "MR. PHIL, this smells like wine!"

Uh oh.  So I grab the cup...and yeah, it did smell like wine.  The bottles were clearly closed, no one tampered with them, and the expiration date was months away.

No idea what happened, but we threw that bottle away (and all the cups we took from the kids).

There was an awkward moment when the kid told his parents "They served us wine today!"

Oh how quickly we corrected the kid...

Adjective Bird Whiskey: Zima Miller Lite.  I'm not proud of it.  But there it is.

Hey, it's what my friend's dad drank, so I blame him for not having better taste in beer.

Absolutely, my dad is from Germany, and his hometown is a wine-producing town.  So it's totally normal for everyone to drink.

Age 7 was the first time I was drunk, not the first time I had a drink.  I was probably 4 or so for that.  :)

Well funny you mention- My father is Greek born just outside Tripoli, and Im a first gen American on his side. However, my mom is Mormon. So that was never an option. I truly believe I might have had more self control and done less binge drinking if I'd been taught moderation instead of abstinence.
