AteMyBrain: Why didn't they just burn some jet fuel inside it for a couple of hours? Sumbiatch would have come down straight as an arrow.
ultraholland: Here's a new video that was uploaded by a spectatorhttp://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQWARNING: not for the faint of heart.
LaughingRadish: FriarReb98: astouffer: namatad: NEWS FLASH: standing too close to exploding things is dangerousdetails at 11It said they were standing in the so called designated safe area. Someone is going to own part of that demolition company now.Highly likely. From the aerial images of the area, the demolition site looks to be roughly 300 yards from the Lowe's parking lot, while the other viewpoint is just over a quarter mile. While I'm sure they had reason to believe it was far enough, less than a quarter mile for something rusty and metallic being blown up seems like not such a good idea. Either that, or there's also the fact that it looks like there was literally nothing left to contain the blast.\granted, that's only me and my "watched too many demolition shows" mind saying this, so who knows what's rightSee http://goo.gl/maps/s9L2o. The parking lot is a considerable distance from the power plant building. The chunk of metal had to travel northeast across six lanes of traffic, over a canal, to even get to the lot. Does anyone know where in the lot the spectator was standing?
wallywam1: Bslim: I usually manage to avoid shrapnel by, you know, not spectating massive explosions. The upside to getting old is that you stop doing stupid shiat like that.
Morgellons: That was a couple alts ago for me; help me remember, why am I thinking that's Wil Wheaton's middle finger?
Prey4reign: WhyteRaven74: Michael Bay seen quietly running awayThis is impossible. Michael Bay is incapable of doing anything quietly.
