max_pooper: If fat girls don't like it they should just stop being fat

Which is why they want to buy exercise clothes. But then there aren't any cute exercise clothes for fat chicks so they get sad and eat ice cream instead. It's kind of a vicious circle.

Despite your feelings towards overweight people, the majority of Americans and Mexicans are overweight.  To not cater to them for clothing is beyond stupid.  That's a huge market you are flipping the bird to because you want to feel like you have power over a group of people who most have little impulse control(hence the reason they are overweight).  Overweight people deserve to have the same lines of clothing available for them, even if it isn't as flattering on them, its still better than the MooMoos and other disgusting clothing that is generally available for those looking to spend less than $100 per pair of pants.

"Lululemon is very image conscious. That's why women are shelling out $100 for a pair of pants they could get at Target for $20."

So they are marketing to stupid women.

abhorrent1: Fallout Zone: Size 10 is fat?

Size 10 isn't actually size 10 any more. They've adjusted the sizing to make the lard asses feel better about themselves. It's probably really a size 16.

Also,
Thread fails so...

Why should they have to cater to customers that they don't want to? Someone doesn't choose to be black or gay, but fatties have a choice. I made the choice in middle school not to be fat. Just because you can't figure it out as an adult doesn't mean it should reflect poorly or Abercrombie or Lululemon.

Can I get men's size 30 (waist) pants at Big & Tall? Can my wife get women's size 0 pants there? No? Why not? Why doesn't Big & Tall cater to skinny and short people too?! Ahhhhh, discrimination!

/ They're a business that's targeting a particular demographic
// That applies to Big & Tall and Lululemon

We need to shun Lane Bryant into selling a size 0 too, as they are discriminatory to the minority - skinny women.

It doesn't matter how Lululemon exploits their five minutes. They are a fad clothing company, and the liklihood of their being around a decade from now, no matter WHAT they do, is microscopic. So f**k 'em. Let them peddle their slithery stut-wear to whoever they want.

Some "Plus-Sized" chicks are farking HOT.

Sadly, the term has been abused and used incorrectly to replace "fat", much like other words like "curvy", "full figured" etc etc

/No, you're not "curvy", "full figured" or "voluptuous", you're just fat.

No get with posting the plus-sized hottie pics! lol

TuteTibiImperes: The My Little Pony Killer: people will still confuse your leggings for pants and wander around half-dressed.

That should be encouraged.

In my scenario, the first part of that sentence is not mutually exclusive of the second.
