Yes I know it's weird, and as much as the bricklaying was cool and all that, as I looked into the green fields in the background, I kept seeing the 3,000,000 Polish Jews killed in the holocaust and how cold it would have been in the winter. Certainly my grandfather would have been one of them had he not come to America.

I liked the part where the guy threw the shovel to the other guy.

No, but I was exactly like that in the eight or so minute interval that included watching the video and then posting on FARK.

Also, it's near midnight Vietnam time where I'm at right now, so I might have been in that late night mood while you are just Saturday morning.

It's always bothered me that Polish folks get painted with the stupid brush. Not sure where this came from, but without the Pole's HUGE assistance in breaking the Enigma Code, we'd all be speaking German right now.

Who constructs a building with internal brick walls if it is not something like a prison?

Maybe they found the bricks fallen off a truck and didn't have to figure in their cost.

I thought Mario was a plumber, not a bricklayer...

Good to know I was not the only one hearing the Mario theme in my head when watching that.

Say what you want, but in WWII the Polish were heroically brave. In Warsaw, they would throw sticks of dynamite bare-handed at the Germans. Of course, the Germans would pick them up, light them and throw them back, but still.

I going to hell I know, but I did laugh.

On the other hand it was the Polish that first broke the German Enigma.

The most intelligent and hilarious person I've known was a skinny, be-speckled Polish kid that I hung around with as a teen.
He managed to accidentally kill himself with OTC drugs.
/Vitamins and caffeine.

And what good did it do? They still can't figure out the pulley.

When the Germans went into Poland they did their level best to kill every smart person in the whole country.  Being Germans, their level best was pretty effective. This is part of why Polish citizens fought back so hard during the occupation.
