Put some 70% (or more) pure chocolate shaving on your steak, to go along with the bourbon (or Jura single malt)

It works best with a chocolate that has a woodsy flavor, rather than fruity.

Also, just because I know that grilled steak has the same molecular compounds as chocolate and or oak-barrled aged wines (and thus whiskys, since they reuse wine barrels), doesn't mean I'm a douchebag who makes anyone's life miserable.

Lighten up.  Life - like a good dinner - is meant to be enjoyed.
