They cleaned up Manhattan, Screw the Boroughs./Seriously, how about some new rent-controlled apartments in Manhattan made available to people with 5 years + in the city and Incomes under $100,000
urger: Most noise complaints in New York are made against churches.
urger: Oh no - Manhattan is not cleaned up. The problem is that the rats moved out of the low lying regions after Sandy hit. Where I grew up in Queens NEVER had rats when I was living there. Now my dad catches one a night in the backyard. The rats are migrating inland.

GuyFawkes: I lived in a very new building here in Astoria for a few years and there were mice in the walls but it seemed like just a few. I now live in a pre-war building (also in Astoria) and haven't seen or heard one mouse or rat. Roaches on the other hand.../csb//we love our apartment
