If they found some, could they actually do anything?

Justin Smith of the Niners apparently has ties to a German-based gang who have been committing crimes as far back as Prohibition.

That could get ugly fast if they do find someone.  "Well, when I was 13 I was forced to join the crips or they'd kill me.  I haven't been with them in 4 years."  What are they going to do, make them remove the tattoos?  That would put a giant target on the player's head.  Fire them?  Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton would be there in 30 seconds flat.

Shouldn't you go back to spying on John Terry's wife, Mail?

Lost Thought 00: If they found some, could they actually do anything?

This is the NFL. If you sign with them, you sign away any and all consitutional rights, including the 13th.

Hm, I would have thought they'd let the individual teams do this during the scouting process.  If a team is to be at risk for a very sudden hole in the depth chart, I'd think they would do a pretty good job vetting each player and it would work itself out naturally.

I saw the cutest sugar skull earrings on a girl at the clinic today.

Manti Te'o should get some for his girlfriend.

Sadly for most NFL fans, I don't think the Patriots are going to earn your "learn the hard way" lesson.
