Seattle most miserable and Atlanta second most miserable? Yeah that seems to agree with FARKSPORTS misery index for fans from those places.

I thought Detroit might have been on there just because of the Lions. But considering I have also lived in Phoenix and now San Diego I guess Detroit isn't so bad. (probably the only time I'll ever say those words again.)

Meh.  As a Braves fan it's a bummer that they've only won the big one once, but it's nice to have a team that is consistently competitive.  My poor father is a Cubs fan.

Yes I know we won but then the team shat its diapers so completely that I think it may have been a dream.

I would rather live in San Diego than any of the so called "sports towns" like Boston or NYC.

I'm sure that you guys had fun watching your team play, which is awesome, but what amounts to a championship in soccer's equivalent of a AA league isn't much to celebrate.

Oh, the Lions are miserable but the Red Wings (4), Pistons (3), and Tigers (1) have all won championships in my lifetime plus been to the finals a couple more times a piece.  So, fark the Lions.

They aren't even celebrating championships.  The Sounders have done jack diddly in MLS itself, they are celebrating their US Open Cup wins, the domestic tournament.

They didn't.  The Colorado Rockies became the New Jersey Devils.  The article lists the Rockies and Avalanche separately.

Yeah as far as letting their fans down a lot of teams deserve to be higher, no matter how much they mock all teams would rather be in the mix than out of it completely.

Ironically the thrashers averaged more fans in Atlanta and it was an huge difference before the shiatty Atlanta spirit took ownership and shiat on the team. They just wanted the hawks who draw fewer fans than the thrashers, hey Winnipeg why don't we give you the hawks and we take back the thrashers?

Or the Leafs any time since 1967? And apparently we have a basketball team, but I'm not sure where they play anymore....

Leafs last cup (and finals appearance) - 1967
Raptors - never
Jays last Worlds Series (and playoff appareance)- 1993
TFC - went a year without a home win and have never made the playoffs.

20 years since a (non CFL) Championship game in any (no CFL) sport....and it isn't ending anytime soon.
The Leafs meltdown in game 7 this year should put us on the list.

6-10 and Favre dying on TCF Stadium's field wouold have been ALOT more pallatable with a SB win behind it.

Cleveland and their hopelessly bitter fans need to be #1. That town never deserved LeBron James in the first place, and they have the audacity to be angry that he left a shiathole like Cleveland to win titles.
