(The Blaze)   The "Limbaugh Theorem" attempts to explain how Obama can be simultaneously a tyrant and an incompetent, but lacks proof and is therefore not a theorem. Its existence, however, is proof that conservatives actually do experience cognitive dissonance   ( theblaze.com) divider line

The Left viewed Bush as both an almighty Hitler and a doofus.

It is interesting to see how divergent Obama's popularity is compared to the popularity of his policies.

No, Cheney was the evil one.  Bush was the puppet.

If you continue to insist on speaking for the The Left, at least get it correct.

I know.  I remember the massive organized nation wide rallies during Bush's terms where countless individuals held signs calling him a mix of Hitler, Czar, etc., and screaming non-specific rants that dominated the nationwide narrative for months on end.

Actually, there WERE huge anti-war rallies during the Bush administration. They simply weren't covered by the mainstream media.

I seem to remember him more as someone utterly cavalier -- careless and contemptuous of rights, invasions, responses, history, speech and spelling. Essentially, someone who could not be bothered to stop or give pause to the worst elements of the Right's platform.

[ open on suburban kitchen, Wife and Husband arguing ]
Wife: New Shimmer is a floor wax!
Husband: No, new Shimmer is a dessert topping!
Wife: It's a floor wax!
Husband: It's a dessert topping!
Wife: It's a floor wax, I'm telling you!
Husband: It's a dessert topping, you cow!
Spokesman: [ enters quickly ] Hey, hey, hey, calm down, you two. New Shimmer is both a floor wax and a dessert topping! Here, I'll spray some on your mop.. [ sprays Shimmer onto mop ] ..and some on your butterscotch pudding. [ sprays Shimmer onto pudding ]
[ Husband eats while Wife mops ]
Husband: Mmmmm, tastes terrific!
Wife: And just look at that shine! But will it last?
Spokesman: Hey, outlasts every other leading floor wax, 2 to 1. It's durable, and it's scuff-resistant.
Husband: And it's delicious!
Spokesman: Sure is! Perks up anything from an ice cream sundae to a pumpkin pie!
Wife: Made from an exclusive non-yellowing formula.
Husband: I haven't even touched my pudding and I'm ready for more!
Wife: But what about black heel marks?
Spokesman: Dirt, grime, even black heel marks, wipe clean with a damp mop.
[ Husband accidentally sprays Shimmer onto the floor ]
Husband: Oh, sorry, honey, I'll clean that up!
Wife: Oh, no problem, sweetheart, not with new Shimmer!
[ Spokesman laughs continuously as he approaches the camera ]
Spokesman: New Shimmer, for the greatest shine you ever tasted!

Well I went and listened to what Rush said about Obama on this theorem of his.

I can't say he's completely correct, but his idea here has merit. Reagan was called the 'Teflon president' because a democratically controlled congress and a liberal media could not get things to stick to him.

Obama is Teflon President 2.0, and given that Obama is constantly campaigning and not really governing from the middle as many presidents tend to do, I think there's a valid point there.

In fact, I'm certain Obama no longer has a chance at getting re-elected now that this is all out in the open.

So he appears to have this mysterious, powerful bunch of forces that are opposing him and stopping him from creating jobs and stopping him from giving people proper health care...but he is constantly out there fighting."

Rush pretty much nailed it right there. It's always somebody else's fault in Obama's world. The Messiah is infallible and anyone who says different is a heretic.

Rush's response was, to quote one of them in their exact words:

"A series biatch slap...."
"Rush gave Steele the pants down spanking he deserved. Really just hammered him! Seriously, if Steele doesn't get on the horn and explain himself immediately, he is done. Game over."

This must be related to the Fluke-Clinton Uncertainty Principle, which states that women are simultaneously incapable of being trusted with decisions regarding their own bodies, but just the idea of one running for POTUS has them acting like PTSD-addled vets.

Because conservative men don't understand Obama or women, they must be capable of ANYTHING, thus they must be capable of EVERYTHING.
