That's MOTY material right there, folks.

2013-07-31 03:10:51 PM
On one hand, the kids get molested.  On the other hand, mom needed some alone time.  Sorry little Timmy you're gonna have to take one for the team.

The news site was appropriate. img1.fark.net

And this article is linked to "69 News."

That's it, I give up. Window seat please.

2013-07-31 03:56:38 PM
Seriously, she needs to lose custody of her children.

2013-07-31 03:59:26 PM
FTFA:On July 22, 29-year-old Wechsler was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting three of the children--aged 7, 8 and 15--on multiple occasions. A fourth child -- a 3-year-old-- was not mentioned as a victim.

Well, it's good that he has an actual age cut off.

So now mom gets to go to jail, and the kids are put in foster care where people are paid to molest their charges.

69 News, really?

I am generally a tolerant and reasonable individual.

But I think being beaten to death with baseball bat is probably justice for her at this point.

2013-07-31 04:17:53 PM
anyone notice it is on 69 news yet?

2013-07-31 04:19:23 PM
I'll take "what is complicit" for $500

2013-07-31 04:20:01 PM
If he is 100% guaranteed to molest kids maybe it's time to just put the guy into a woodchipper and be done with it...

2013-07-31 04:20:04 PM
Sounds to me like she ought to be charged as a conspirator. Jesus...

/ has anybody mentioned the humorous nature of the news source's name yet or would I be the first?
// or the 69th?

2013-07-31 04:21:03 PM
You'd think the children's bodies would have a way of shutting the molestation down.

100% guaranteed to molest kids

Does this come with a warranty?

Carn: Remove her babymaker, she doesn't need DESERVE it anymore.

And I like the woodchipper idea for the guy.  But what the hell was that perv doing out on the streets?

The 15 year old couldn't watch his siblings? I think I was watching my younger sibling in my pre-teen days for short periods.

Samantha Geimer, don't take a page from your momma's playbook.

Don't flame me, but this got me thinking about how closely should parents be heeding warnings from officials and the consequences they should face for not following the advice. Clearly in this case, it seemed like they "knew" that this guy was going to molest the kids, but how could they be 100%? Should a parent who is warned about the dangers of skateboarding, but allows their child to participate in it be charged with child endangerment if they get hurt? Not to say that this situation was as murky, but how far does this line go? If officials are more than 50% sure it's a bad idea and you go against that advice, should you be criminally responsible for the consequences?

I'd like to talk to a meth dealer please.  Yes.  Hi.  My mom chose shopping over me, I need some of your meth.  Yep.  And sign me up for a string of break ins and a long rap sheet.  Great.  Alright.  See you in juvie.  Bye.

I'm going to make a wild guess that isn't the worst thing she's done as a mother.

A normal parental response to being told that someone has said they would like to molest your kids is to murder them, not invite them over for some quality time with the little rascals. Wonder where the daddy(ies) are here.

The last time WFMZ had a real scoop

Considering we are sandwiched between two of the top 3 or 4 media markets, it helps to have a local station give us local news instead of NBC Philly or NBC NY telling us what happened in those two cities which are each about 70 miles away.

Plus the local weatherman is a theater geek and hosts the local HS version of the Tony awards.

Unless there's reason to think she'll flee, $40,000 bond is excessive.

I'm sure that her kids are in state custody and a condition of bail could be set that she not assume responsibility for other children. Do they think she's going to give birth while awaiting trial?

Hard to say.  I deal with electricity (Professional Engineer).  If I tell you that something's hazardous and you go ahead and do it anyway, odds are pretty good that you won't do it again.

We talking about the same lady who was told not to leave her kids with Mr. Molestation?  Yeah, I don't think I'd trust her with anything.  Revoke bail.

Wow, no kidding, I'm 36 and this guy looks like he's 15 years older than I am.

marius2: The 15 year old couldn't watch his siblings? I think I was watching my younger sibling in my pre-teen days for short periods.

My guess is the 15-year-old was the first victim.  "You know what, I think you're old enough to have a beer.  You sure seem mature for your age."

My first thought was "I wonder what the odds are of all four of those kids having the same last name."
