If I get my heart pumping with caffeine...

I prefer to have my heart continually pump, even without caffeine.

Exactly, no would've worked just fine

Yeah, "no" was probably adequate, but I used to read "The Straight Dope" in the (then) local free paper, and so I am glad to be reminded of it's existence and told of its online whereabouts. I just wish I could pad this comment to a two-paragraph length (or 40+ cm).

I was caffeine monkey, my life was ruled by coffee.

After four years of abusing this this very substance my appendix burst. I was in a great deal of pain at first but then the nurse gave me morphiene and they whipped it out.(my appendix that is)

I have never looked back and would like to thank the NHS and the nurse whose name was Angela.

Thanks for free *legal* space-out drugs.

"Hey Yoda, aren't free NHS drugs are great?!"
"Foolish are you. Learn the ways of the force you must."
"Says you, Mr. Nasal Juice."

Sure, "no" would have worked, but other people may want to know why, not just what.
