Look, Christians deserve the right to oppress others in America. It's a god given freedom written in our constitution.

"a small infringement" like pro-gay marriage laws or gun control laws "always, Always, ALWAYS lead to a greater infringement."

This is  why I am against seatbelt laws and regulations for baby cribs and lead in toys.

What will the government tell you next? You have to buy a low flush toilet? You can't buy an incandescent light bulb? You shouldn't mix bleach and ammonia together to clean your bathtub?

Nah, it's really not that complex.  It's all just-world bullshiat when you get to the republican core.  Gays can't get married, so obviously they don't deserve to.

If King George rises from the dead, free of the dementia of porphyria, and sends his legions of undead Redcoats at us, you sure as hell will not want them quartered in your house.  I heard SyFy is actually making a movie of just that scenario.  I've heard the working title is "Red Dead Revenge", though that's obviously going to have legal issues.  Other titles have been bandied about, like "Georgocalypse", "Boston Massacre II: the Reddening", "Yankee Doodle Dead", and my personal favorite, "No Quarter".

Icky? We're talking about a group who can't talk about two adults of the same gender entering into a legal partnership without waxing poetic about the evil, evil forbidden animal love.  Sometimes I wonder if they are just self aware enough that the idea of two men might push them over the edge and attack the Hoover.  Are they just taking the argument to the absurd or are they barely in control perverts.

For all the biblical and moral bluster they make, for most I really don't think the "sin" aspect is what really bothers them. They just find it...gross...and they're too chickensh*t to admit that publicly so they grasp at the various straws we see all time as an attempt at justification.

I honestly look at it as impotent flailing for most of them. Some of them do really take the absurd to heart.

This is the risk you'll always take when you rely on Google search to back up the position you formulated in your own head without benefit of real data.  Social conservatives run into this all of the time.

No one actually believes they should--that kind of moral decrepitude is beyond even the slatternly failings of the Irish. But they actually do so anyhow, knowing the whole time the wrongness of their actions.  If the Irish were not capable of knowing the difference between right and wrong, they'd be innocent, instead of guilty, guilty, guilty like the bog-trotting miserable excuses of humanity they truly are.

Dunno, but that makes me wonder....

What would it take to spread a lie about Obama that on the surface appears really bad but due to double negatives or a deeper dive on the meaning of the message would be positive... and see how far retarded conservatives spread it on Facebook and the like?

Maybe something like this...

Obama once met with Communist Kruschev for 3 hours in the Harvard Rec Hall to discuss trading the use of Soviet music in films like "The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training" for bell bottom pants.

On second thought, it isn't double negatives or a deeper dive that's needed per the example above. A blatant lie so blatant that the derpers wouldn't suspect it, anachronistic facts and just plain absurdity.  Yes, I think it would work!

To the GRAPHICS DEPARTMENT.... make me an infographic!

I like how when pushed, their arguments against homosexuality are revealed to have no base.

"But if we allow gay marriage then children will think it's okay to be gay!"

"So?"

"So then society will no longer view homosexuality as evil!"

"So?"

And so on...
