Why do we keep greenlighting links to no-name radio station blogs?

To be fair, I did not know Simon Cowell and Rick Harrison had a Zany Morning Funky Bunch Zoo Crew.

That said, Thanks, ABQGOD for the direct link.

I have to wonder what sort of person  submitter is that they frequent a radio station's "blog" to find submissions.

I'm sure there were multiple skid marks.

There's something in the FArQ that says you have a higher chance of getting a video link approved if you have it go to a page with the video embedded rather than to the video itself.  No idea why, I'd prefer the quicker load times you usually get straight from YouTube and whatnot.  Meh.

Yeah, a bit annoying when the page doesn't actually add anything of value.

Unfortunately, the damage is done. I cannot ever erase from my mind a pantsless Simon cupping his balls while getting rogered from behind by a leering Pawn Stars' Rick.

Thanks a lot. I didn't notice the cuppage until you pointed it out. Thanks again.

Do not try and dodge the car. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realize the truth.

Yes a video embedded on a page that gives more information about it is good. Some random page saying watch this video we found sucks.

ABQGOD, I hope you realize that you linked to a YouTube ripoff of a LiveLeak ripoff of a YouTube vid and all this ripping off tends to lose context.

I think the original is
YouTube "Родился в рубашке" by EvgeniyW37rus - 150,303 views
Published on Jul 8, 2013
Россия, г. Иваново, ул. Куконковых около авторынка.

This Russian google translates as
Born in shirt
Russia, Ivanovo, ul. Kukonkovyh about the car market.

Google also suggests "under a lucky" instead of "in shirt" as a translation of "в рубашке" so I guess the proper English title is "Born Lucky".

But why in Russian is "born in a shirt" an idiom for "born lucky".

(I have no idea what "Россия, г. Иваново, ул. Куконковых около авторынка" is supposed to mean)

I hope you realize that I merely copied the URL of the vid in the article, and don't care too much about context. :)

I don't understand where that car was coming from, or why it was skidding across multiple rows of traffic.  It seems that if it was coming from the lane to the right of the recording vehicle, it could have just gone through the cross walk without harming the pedestrian. Why all the skidding across lanes?

Because skidding across lanes get's you on youtube? It's like the Russian national pastime. They pump out bad driving dashcam vids the way we pump out spoiled teen AW's lip syncing into hair brushes. I keep waiting for the 'dashcam safari' tourist package where they rent you a camera- equipped Volvo with a roll bar and cut you loose in the heart of Moscow at rush hour.

KEWL! Honey, pack the kids, we're going to Moscow.

No, the one in Russia.

BTW,
Russian: в рубашке родился [v rubashke rodilsia] - born in a shirt
Means to be born lucky, but said mostly in a situation when someone avoided danger

I found that "Родился в рубашке" (born in a shirt) means "born in a caul" and that many cultures consider caul births to convey luck.

I think that goes back to the olden days before Youtube when people would link to a video that wasn't embedded in a page, it just auto-ran. I don't think it's referring to something like this.

Be careful GISing 'caul', as you not only get babies being born, but you also get people slicing weird animal organs and things, and it's a bit disconcerting seeing the two juxtaposed.
