(Cable TV)   Remember that crappy Twitter / YouTube one joke mess 'Shiat Girls Say" and how you hoped it would all just go away because your girlfriend was so obsessed and quoting it and shiat? Yeah, well, about that   (cabletv.com) divider line 22

They aren't going to give up the "stupidest crap passed as entertainment" championship to some damn internet upstarts without a fight.

Do they remember how well the last show that was created from a Twitter meme performed?

The "shiat _____ say" series was lame as all get-out.

The brains behind the project, Canadian comedy writers Kyle Humphrey and Graydon Sheppard, breathe life into the characters, with Sheppard going drag as "The Girl" and Humphrey as the occasional, long suffering, endlessly annoyed boyfriend.

How could this not be awesome? I mean, the concept of a man in drag poking fun at familiar tropes involving women worked so well for  Jack and JillWhite Chicks and other films of the sort. And everyone knows that Twitter feeds are goldmines for well-crafted humor!

The My Little Pony Killer: The "shiat _____ say" series was lame as all get-out.

Idunno, I enjoyed the originals, and there are a few gems out there, especially if you have a love/hate relationship with the group being represented. Of course, with every trend, for every good one, there's 1000 bad ones.

But basing a show on this is an awful idea.

Why shouldn't I just take a huge, steaming dump on a Manila folder, and send that in to them and just collect my money now?

"Remember that crappy..."

No, I don't remember. I have the sense when I smell crap, to avoid the crap. I don't go, "hey, smells like some crap over there. I better go check it out."

Never heard of it before now, and have no interest in seeing it.

Well why wouldn't they, after the monster success of this show:

Overly Attached Girlfriend...the series!

In tonight's episode, hilarity ensues when Bill receives a text from Shelly, but OAG doesn't know that Shelly is the diamond dealer selling Bill the rock for her engagement ring.

Well, that is he was.... (sheepy-horn)

"Passionista?" Is that the new word for "vapid whore?"

I'll admit it, I liked that show.

What I can no longer stand is the  "'.........' - said no one ever" meme that also stills permeates Twitter and other corners of the internet.

I found it mildly amusing.  Although wifey says "ice cream makes me cough" every time she eats ice cream and coughs.  Which is every time.  SCREW YOU Shiat Girls Say!

Did she really say passionista?

Maybe she deserves her own exasperating show.

Mildly amusing things make for great TV shows. Take the Geico Cavemen for example...

/I'd watch a Flo show...

.....said NO ONE EVER!!!! HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA......sTAB STAB stab.

No, they use it because THEY were entertained by it the first time they saw it.  It's just a feeble attempt at "paying it forward" and "being trendy".

That awkward moment when a meme joke falls flat...
