How many terrorists have made it past TSA screening to hijack and/or blow up any planes?  Zero.  Nada.  Nil.  Zilch.  None.  So yeah, they are the elite security force that they claim to be.

:-D

And instead of raising hell with your elected officials over this, every single useless one of you will do absolutely nothing about it except post anonymously on an internet forum about how you are Jack's complete lack of surprise or other such nonsense.

After reading above, you will also fire off an indignant retort asking me what i'm doing about it then...which still has no effect on the original problem, but will make you feel a little better about the fact that you ain't done shiat about it but bend over for a TSA rape every time you fly.

When you're taking the next step in your career because of the ad on the pizza box, you might be an incompetent asshole.

Oh, and thanks for placing all of the "potential explosive liquids" in a large trash can, right next to the line.  That reeks of "we're credulous".

I know if I spent hours groping breasts and vajayjays of all shapes and sizes, I would need to take a nap. Oh, and steal $40,000. Oh, and kick some money upstairs so I could keep stealing. And groping.

[shrugs] As long as competent people design and oversee the construction, it's preferable to getting groped and zapped by these guys.

I thought $10 to $14 an hour would have bought us some serious talent.

ABC News: Your suitcase has been tagged and whisked away for a TSA security check before being loaded onto a plane en route to your final destination. How safe are the belongings inside? The TSA has fired nearly 400 employees for allegedly stealing from travelers, and for the first time, the agency is revealing the airports where those fired employees worked.

Report: TSA employee misconduct up 26% in 3 years

Wow, that's like 126%.

2013-07-31 10:28:43 AM
Some of the most serious violations include: Employees sleeping on the job, letting family and friends go without being screened, leaving work without permission and stealing.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit.  I'll get my knickers twisted over this when members of Congress are held to the same code of conduct.

Someone should start a "people of TSA" website.  I would check to see if there isn't one already, but I'm at work and am afraid as to what would turn up in my search results...

"If you look at a population the size of a small city -- 56,000 people in this work force -- and the numbers then on an annual basis are then really, really small," said David Borer of the American Federation of Government Employees.

In other words, if you back up about a mile, squint really hard, and then spread the data across a thousand years, why, there are really no problems at all!  Statistically speaking, we're living in an absolute Utopia of friendship, competence, and service to our fellow man!

Not to mention what doing such a search would probably ring a few bells in Utah.

Well it took some time for the corruption to sink in and set up.
TSA is a jobs program and it needs to be ended.

2013-07-31 10:37:46 AM
I went through a law enforcement academy recently and there was one very overweight, lazy slob of a person who nobody was sure how he was hired. He was prior TSA. To listen to him talk you would think the TSA was this James Bond-like agency. He told me TSA drones had the ability to carry firearms and make arrests, but they didn't because the agency didn't want them showing up all the other police forces or some damn thing. He would go on and on about the "elite training" at the TSA that he received that was heavily classified or who knows what.

The guy was a scumbag. He borrowed money from his academy mates and never repaid it, drank other people's booze (I also caught him trying to sneak drinks on my buddys tab once in a bar), had no sense of tact and I'm still not sure how he passed the academic section.

That said, I'm pretty sure he was one of the better TSA employees the agency ever had.

Well they aren't going to pat you down, what they can do is tell you the name of their supervisor, and their name so when you complain maybe it will have a little more bite.
