So no more votes to defund it? Those were always so much fun.

EvilEgg: So no more votes to defund it? Those were always so much fun.

I love how they spend money essentially trying to defund and repeal the thing and then turn around and decry excess government spending.

*mind blown

oh, no - they'll continue to waste taxpayer money on votes to defund obamacare. they just won't shut down the govt. over it.

the bottom line is, they're absolutely terrified that it will work and become entrenched and even beloved by the american people. and they called it "obamacare," so the president and the dems will get credit for what was at its core a republican idea for all eternity.

Ah, the "stabbed in the back" claim. Just like Hitler. Conservatism didn't "lose" but were betrayed.

Yeah? Was the subtext there that they were going to kill all the people over 70 or something and free up their homes and bank accounts so that we could all stop watching catheter commercials on TV sometime soon?

Now onwards to make ACA a single payer system and get rid of the health insurance companies all together and once and for all.

Mass suicides wiuld br great! Money saved on medical costs, time saved on the death panels, and more room in FEMA camps!! Everybody wins!

Obamacare, smart move labeling it that.

2013-07-31 09:26:10 AM
What would happen if the Democrats did this over any facet of the DoD budget? They'd be accused of being terrorist sympathizes that hate freedom.

I guess these teabagging jerk offs love injuries and diseases more than their fellow Americans.

You may have won this time, Farklibs, but we'll just find politicians that better represent the views of REAL America, and let me tell you, REAL America will NEVER accept ObamaCare!

I'm going to laugh so hard when the medicaid expansion goes into effect and the states that refused to accept it experience population drain and stress on local economies due to flight.

AHAHA, holy shiat, they're going to tear themselves apart in the primaries for 2014, aren't they? I wonder if this will be what it takes to force the tea party to split off or COMPLETELY FARK OVER currently strong/entrenched/incumbent seats.

Senior Republicans are deriding the plan as "dumb," "silly" and a "temper tantrum," warning that it will fail and damage the party's prospects in the upcoming 2014 elections.

Too bad you didn't realize this like 8 years ago.

2013-07-31 09:31:12 AM
House Republicans voted to repeal ObamaCare 40 times.  That's as many as four tens.  And that's terrible.

It would be funny to see the applicants for suicide get rejected by the death panels in favour of more deserving applicants.

Regardless of where you stand politically, I respect the hell out of you for actually understanding how the world works.

Where we differ is that sure I understand how the world works, I just want to turn it upside down on it's head haha

Let's wait and see what Mitch McConnell does in the wake of his Republican challenger in the Senate primary daring him to sign Mike Lee's letter and filibuster appropriations bills with funding for ObamaCare.

That's true of all politicians.  Come election time you see them scramble to the center like all hell has broken loose.

What's surprising is that "top Republicans" appear to have learned something from the last government shutdown.

What's not surprising is that "top Republicans" are distancing themselves from Ted Cruz.

And those "fiscal conservatives" spent millions upon millions doing it.

They're the biggest group of frauds we've ever seen frauds ever to go to Congress.  Nancy Pelosi is also an idiot, but Boner makes her look like Einstein.

It's much harder to do that with the advent of the Internet.

Sure, they get a free pizza, but, thanks to Obamacare, Michelle Obama is going to slap it out of their hands.

It's amazing that you managed to get that idea from right-wing blogs without also getting the idea that some Republicans might be a tad upset.
