Honestly, I cannot wait until every company has a version of these for home and industrial use.  Really, the power source needs to be smaller for the most part.  I hope the robotic revolution is explosive in growth and we can have series 4000 mechanoids that vacuum the floor or make omelets.  However, I might be hesitant to eat them.

/I won't want toast from the talking toasters.

... How about a muffin?  Can I interest you in a waffle?

Good, maybe one of these things can replace me when I savagely hack away at the tendons behind my knees later in a fit of drug-induced merriment.

Cautionary tale against fully sentient AIs, not robotics.

I can't wait for the advent of powered exoskeletons.

I'll be ecstatic if no one ever pays Michael Bay to make a film again.

You want to see how to shoot a robot fighting scene, Michael? Then go see Pacific Rim.

As a rescue robot, when it finds someone in a disaster area, it needs to say "Come with me if you want to live."

Couple this with Google's self-driving car and let's see what we can really do.

This is all well and good, but can it flail its arms and say "Danger, Danger Will Robinson?"

What if I taught them to feel love?

Still needs a human pilot.  Besides, the Atlas sucks donkey balls.  I would much rather have something with 4/6/4 movement and a single PPC.  You can stay at long range and just pick away at it.

Came for veridian dynamics reference, leaving disappointed. Not as much as I have in the lack of a third season.

Well, taking the toast is one thing.

Taking the syrup is quite another.

To be fair, Michael Bay hasn't had a real actor working for him in years anyway.

I disagree.  He gets plenty of good actors to work for him.  But, they know that they do not have to really work for their paycheck.  They do not even have to act, all they really need do is just recite their lines.  They can put in a totally half-assed effort and Michael Bay will say, "Wow!  That's great acting.  Here's your check."  It is easy money for the actors.
