The move suggests that even as Mr. Weiner vows to press ahead with his candidacy, there are mounting doubts about its political viability within his own campaign.

I see what you did there, NY Times.

Weiner is an exhibitionist who can't keep his dick in his pants.

Penis?

2013-07-28 08:54:15 AM
This guy's cock is generating way too many news stories.

2013-07-28 09:00:17 AM
I think I know why he keeps getting attacked.  He supposedly has a big cock so naturally all the tiny dick "men" are ashamed and need to attack him.

I don't understand this. On the NYC Scale of Weirdness, is DOI even a 1?

Maybe. He seems to have an addiction. He knew he was gambling with what was left of his career by continuing this exhibition stuff.

He's a horny guy that had a couple 21yo cute chicks hanging on his every word ready to drop their panties for him.

An addiction that any guy around would gamble their career for

Weinrer should pull out, he's a laughing cock I mean stock.

Liberals will decide who the mayor is.  No one else in NYC has a voice.  If liberals don't want Weiner (and I think they will elect him anyway), then who's their second choice from those running... and why?

What a shame but the guy is damaged goods with a serious problem he is unable or unwilling to address. Better this comes out now (and none of the possible puns intended, you filthy-minded SOBs) than after he gets elected. Go ask MSNBC for a job, Tony, you are done here.

More NYC voters are women than any other gender. Recent polls show women voters don't trust him. He won't be elected, Christine Quinn will be the candidate. She seems to have a good understanding of the city and she is a lesbian. What's not liberal about her?

The Weiner saga is proof positive that, though we may see a transgendered Congressman sometime in my lifetime, we will never, ever see anyone in Congress that practices polyamory.  People can't wrap their head around the possible fact that Weiner's wife has already forgiven him for this behavior twice, and may actually condone it privately.  How prudish we are to think that a person must always have one "true love" in their lives, and may never stray from that "true love" ever.  And the sad thing is the ones most up in arms about these sorts of scandals are the ones who've had two or three wives, and still have a mistress or two on the side, thus practicing the very behavior that they're denouncing.  But my question is, if his wife happens to be okay with it, what business is it of ours?

Well, in Weiner's recent phone-sex hijinks, Sydney Leathers pretty much agreed she was interested in a future extortion attempt. When the candidate gets elected and is controlled by someone or group, obviously some voters can accept that situation, but they like to be told about it prior to the election.

Any immature or congenitally arrogant guy maybe. 20-somethings are great and all, but there has to be something seriously wrong with a grown up man to ruin his career for them TWICE.

Well, that would be a first in the tolerant and inclusive liberal bastion on NYC.

Here in Houston, deep in the intolerant and bigoted South, we've had two women mayors - both homosexuals.

On the other hand, if he does something like join a 12-step group, and find religion, he might get work speaking out about porn addiction, though that is not exactly his thing. Not in a fundamentalist point of view where porn is bad because Jesus and because bible. But because kids, teens, preteens now access streaming porn, really unlimited porn even if their parents put in a filter or whatever. And while even that is not so evil, it leads the youth to masturbation addiction along with their porn addiction and then when they have to interact with a real female, they have no experience courting, flirting, or any other skills other than images on the screen. Please don't laugh at me for learning about this on 4chan /fit/. I was really reading 4chan /fit/ about fitness. But it was heartbreaking to read threads where they talked about "my E.D." like that was normal for that 20-something crowd.

We are not naive like you are or a Democrat worshipper.  Weiner is a piece of shiat. His wife is either in an abusive relationship or is like Hilary and will whore herself out for power. You only see the D and are happy.

His behavior is.

Quinn because of name recognition. Lesbian or not, that's all that matters. The choices in general are dismal for all parties.

I know how desperately you cling to your Texan fantasies of the Elite Northeast Liberal or whatever, but were pretty moderate. Moderate Republicans can win here, but they can't be tards. Like in Texas.

He lied.  Then when he promised not to lie anymore, he kept on doing it.  He's untrustworthy and unable to control his impulses.  That's exactly the kind of person I want in charge of the NYPD...

He also spent $47,000 of campaign money investigating the "hacker" that hacked his twitter account.

He should be charged with fraud for that.

Anyone who is utterly clueless enough to act the way this guy did (and be surprised at the outcome), has no place making decisions of any sort for anyone else.

The only people more devoid of common sense are the ones that would have voted for him a second time.  When you elect the inept, you get exactly the gov't you deserve.

Well, considering that "Lawrence vs. Texas" was based out of the Houston area in which Lawrence was being prosecuted for sodomy and it had to go the Supreme Court way, way back in 2003... I'm going to say that Texas, and Houston in particular, is incredibly intolerant and close minded.

2013-07-28 12:30:38 PM
Anthony Weiner, Eliot Spitzer, Bob Filner. It's just about sex, man, and only pervy weirdos obsess about sex. These fake scandals are in the past, it's old news and it's time we moved on and got down to doing the people's business, because no attack ever fed a hungry child.

Have I missed any?

I'm honestly wondering if Weiner's whole run for Mayor was actually to get his name (and penis) back in the news as some kind of exhibitionist style kink sort of way.
