Confabulat: The article says it takes place shortly before Episode IV, so there's no Jedi to follow except maybe watching Obi-Wan putter around his desert garden or something.

That would actually be hilarious. Have all of the action  happening with the main cast, then once an episode you cut to Ben Kenobi watching the Tatooine equivalent of Girls on the holographic Tivo for a few moments.

Confabulat: fastbow: I'll give it a shot, but if it's nothing but a big Jedi circle-jerk, I'm out.

Yeah, Jedi are cool, but so are the normal people. What's wrong with watching Wedge Antilles go toe-to-toe with Soontir Fel? What's wrong with watching Han Solo try to figure out his place between freedom and responsibility? What's wrong with epic combat led by the normal extraordinary instead of the most perfect people in existence?

Or to see Yoda pop out a turd in the middle of a swamp.

Doesn't sell toys well at all.

I heard all the stormtroopers will be carrying walkie talkies instead of laser rifles.

Bonanza Jellybean: Oh, it's another animated series. I'm sure that won't be design exlusively to sell toys to middle-aged shut-ins.

My, aren't you a little ray of sunshine?

Ramien: buntz: natmar_76: At least it looks like Star Wars.

One of the major flaws of Episodes 1-3.

That was one of my MAJOR complaints about the prequels.  Especially Ep. 3 with opening space battle.
You had NO IDEA who was who, who were the good guys, who were the bad guys!

X-Wings, Tie Fighters are iconic ships.  Name ONE ship from the prequels (the average) person would know.

Jango Fett's Slave 1. It's the same ship as from the original trilogy.

The Death Star from the end of the third bowel movement.
