Haven't we known this for about 20 years, ever since the noted social scientist Lea DeLaria appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show and asked "What does a lesbian bring on a second date?" (Answer: A U-Haul).

I wouldn't exactly call 80 male marriages for every 100 female marriages "far more likely".

FTFA: "Lesbians were more likely to tie the knot because it is easier for them to have children than it is for gay men"

Is children the only reason for marriage? (also in Sweden lots of unmarried heterosexual couples have children)

In the US one reason to get married is for some economic benefits and legal rights. Do these issues not exist in Sweden?

Lesbians in Sweden marry in greater numbers than gay men. IKEA is Swedish.

It's obvious to me that they're marrying in order to better combine efforts on DIY projects.

Indeed.

I was on the same vacation during the second Oklahoma City tornado. I was asked why would you live in a place you knew that could happen. I said that it really doesn't happen that often, and when it does; most of the time, nothing gets destroyed. They didn't realize that Oklahoma is similar in size to some of the larger European countries; and has a much lower population. Plus, everything is spread out further.

I'm used to American cities so everything in Euroland is pretty normal until I realize there's nowhere to "drive out to." There is nothing else but "this"
