Alphax: Course, wasn't Hazard County in Georgia?

It was in Southwest Missouri or Northwest Arkansas. When the WB started Smallville they made many Duke jokes. Including Tom Wopat guess staring as a political pal. He told a story about Chickasaw county. In Dukes it was the neighboring county. In Smallville it was just across the state line. Now we know Smallville was in eastern/southeast Kansas. That means Hazard was in the hill country of those states.

Hazard County was on the border of three unnamed southern states.  The states once fought over which one owned Hazard county.  The loser of that war had to keep Hazard, at least according to the creator of the show.  I've always guessed that the three states were N. Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia but the creator of the show has never said.

I love Smallville, but that's just wrong. Even I, being born in 1987 remember Schnieder from Dukes before Smallville.

I didn't know that.  I just remember seeing the Real Hollywood Story for the show years ago and the creator said the thing about the three states fighting.  I watched the show a lot when I was younger but I guess I never noticed them mentioning Atlanta.  Too be fair though I was pretty distracted by my love for Daisy and the General Lee.

Yeah, I submitted this actual article & got no love-so how is it this up here as a greenlight? Weird.

Igor Jakovsky many '68 and '69 Dodge Chargers were harmed in the making of that show.

True, & Warner Bros. sold the 'surviving' ones for $500 each when Dukes was cancelled, so many a mopar fan in LA got a completely boned E-Body with sterling provenance on the cheap

Nuh uh, it was TN, they even painted the TN state flag on that orange Ford the guys drove and I think the Sheriff was in the Klan, and all the stunts were filmed in or around the Musica statues just off Music Row, or if it was raining they just did them in Grimey's garden back when the store was in Berry Hill.

Damn, that's so hott.

But Alfa Romeo didn't make the El Camino, they made the budget three-wheeled version that NASA developed but that was just a tribute. El Caminos were made by Corvette, same as the Fords.
