Mike Chewbacca: Sgt Otter: wildcardjack: basemetal: Gig103: I know I haven't used Redbox in a few months, but that's because most of what Hollywood is pumping out isn't even worth $1.50.I use redbox from time to time, but it's this exact thing that has kept me from it.They're also whiffing on taking advantage of sequels. I still haven't seen R.E.D. and was hoping they'd put the DVD's back in the machines. When "The Avengers" came out, my local machine put Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man back in their kiosk. It might have been just that one machine, because I've since moved into another part of town, and it's the usual mediocre blockbuster crap and Asylum knock-offs. Since then, I've pretty much stuck to Netflix.I just got a 50" LED HDTV and a Blu-Ray player for my birthday, so I hit up the local Redbox for some effects-laden sci-fi and fantasy Blu-Ray discs, just to show it off. I picked up Total Recall (remake) and "Oz, The Great and Powerful."Total Recall was boring as hell, but looked great. Oz was so badly scratched that the first 20 minutes were practically unwatchable./How is "take out of case by edges of disc. Put in player. Watch movie. Take out of player by edge of disc, put back in case" so farking hard? It's a kid's movie, and kids aren't responsible with stuff.
