You guys laugh, but I just emailed her about this and we started talking. She invited me over for dinner and said she makes the best hasenpfeffer.

I think men are getting smarter and this guy is an example of that. The pendulum of equality between the sexes has swung so far to the other side and does not exist in family court where men are concerned.

When you've put your d**k in crazy, you have few options. One is getting out. Failing to do that, you should protect yourself.   This guy protected himself from a future restraining order or cries of abuse or he beat me or give me half your sh*t or in preparation for the negative press war that women rule in his future divorce; by documenting her level of insanity.  Good on him.   He's keeping his own a** out of jail from some trumped up assault charge, by documenting the crazy. Well played.

Lucky LaRue: DO. NOT. STICK. YOUR. DICK. IN. CRAZY.

Yeah, but I can't resist the crazy ones, so I decided it was not only best to never get married, but also to stop dating since they seem to be the ones I am attracted to the most.   Scenes like that have happened to me a lot.

genepool lifeboat: Dude, were you stalking her after?  I would have just let that shiat go.

Haha, yeah, it does look that way on the surface. But when she got the VD, met the guy online and dropped out of college we were still at the same small school in the same theater group, so word did get around.

2013-07-26 02:15:39 PM

xynix: metallion: My ex-wife was like that.  She was fine until about a year after we exchanged vows...  She already had kids, and I was sort of trapped, because the kids needed something normal in their lives.   Put up with her for 12 years, and when I left, I felt like all of the circuits that had any caring for her were just burned flat out.   I also felt like a massive cement truck was off of my back.  The funny thing about it, is that the kids were both pretty much on my side about it.  "What I don't understand dad, is why you didn't leave her earlier...".   Now I've got a soulmate, who is everything good that I've missed for so long.  Pretty csb. :)

Same deal except it was her mother and her mother's husband that suggest I divorce that crazy biatch for my son's sake. Now her entire family are my friends, shunning her, and I've got a person I can really enjoy life with.

Not sure if you like Darius Rucker but his song "this" defines my life with my soon to be wife.

I'm right there with both of you. My ex's father even wrote her a letter (which I presented in the divorce proceedings) telling her she had been pulling that shiat her whole life and was throwing away everything to act like a farking 2 year old.

I wonder what will be the expression on the fellows face who dates her and gets around to googling her.

What is with Farkers dating/marrying crazy women? I know there are a lot of them out there, but based solely on Fark demographics it seems like one out of every three women is a psycho hose-beast.

I've never dated any crazy guys. I've dated overly possessive, emotionally crippled, jealously violent or chronically immature men, but never straight-up "batshiat insane" ones.

My wife is not perfect, nor am I. But after seeing that video, dayum I need to pick up some flowers on the way home tonight.

I don't blame the guy for posting it.  He probably knew it was over (or should be) by that point in their relationship...  Her explanation that he egged her on, doesn't jive... He's just sitting there, and she's ranting for minutes on end, non-stop....   Even if he said/did something rude, that wouldn't provoke a never-ending tantrum, except in a crazy person.

She's begging and pleading.... Thats not the response of someone who is egged on... She's not upset with his attitude... She's upset that she's not getting her way.

Hebalo: Dude is a dick. They're discussing things like the budget at the beginning, so she's not a total head case. Filming your wife in the middle of an argument like that is pretty childish. And he clearly doesn't care at all about her, he laughs at her reaction. She's over the top, but these two clearly shouldn't be together.

Wow, what exactly does one have to do to qualify as unacceptably childish to you? I mean kicking and screaming get's a pass, so what would someone have to do before you say fark this, I'm out?

Do people usually get interlock devices after the first DUI, or is that like, once you fill up your frequent drunk card you get one? It looks to me like he's dealing with a highly unstable person who has a serious drinking problem.

factoryconnection: I hope she gets ALL.

I hope she doesn't get shiat. That kind of behavior doesn't need to be rewarded.

nytmare: What do you mean "first" inclination? He's been putting up with that shiat for a while. He's done trying to fix it; that didn't work. Now it's just time to laugh it off because there is no other option.

I can certainly see why after over a year married to her he would want people to know that she's full of she when she's bashing him on Facebook to all of their mutual friends. The last straw video combined with moving out and getting a restraining order seems to indicate that he was just pushed too damn far.

I'm not giving her a pass, but 3/4 of the comments here are all "dude is right", when dude is clearly being an asshole. It looks to me like this is round 4 of this argument, and he's been taunting her the whole time. Getting his tired rotated? really?

WhiskeySticks: First clue of crazy right there.

Yeah, I got into the group because of her. I quickly learned that 50% of the members were batshiat insane, and the other 50% were actually very interesting well-rounded people (one guy from the group is actually on TV these days and made it pretty big). I enjoyed it, though, and later joined a community theater group. That's when I learned after college, the well-rounded interesting people had much better things to do with their time and community theater was populated by 100% batshiat insane people.

WinoRhino: Odd Bird: Lucky LaRue: DO. NOT. STICK. YOUR. DICK. IN. PUT A RING ON CRAZY.

It's a fun ride but you have to know when the park's closing and the zombies are coming in.

As a college senior I was dating a freshman woman who was crazy. For a few months is was SO worth it. Really. But then:

1. I come by her dorm room to pick her up to grab dinner and hang out. She is sitting in the middle of the room, in the dark, staring at a candle. I ask her what's wrong, she says nothing, stands up, and walks out of the room. I blew out the candle, shut her door and followed her. She walked out front to my car and got in. So we were driving to the restaurant, she's still not talking. No matter what I say, she's only responding with grunting noises. She takes her jacket off at the restaurant and she has cat stickers all up and down the sleeves of her sweater. I ask what's up with the cat stickers. Nothing. After a very quiet dinner, we get in the car and I have had enough. I take her straight back to the front of her dorm, stop the car and say "Sorry, I have better things to do than this. See ya."  She gets out, starts crying, and runs into the dorm. More curious than caring, I park and go in after her. I find her once again sitting in the middle of the dark room staring at a candle. I plead with her to tell me what's wrong and finally, between sobs she says...
"Two years ago today.... my cat died."

2. Shortly thereafter I went to her family's Christmas / New Year's family holiday party. I walk in, people clap. The psycho hugs me and starts introducing me to everyone, all of whom are saying "congratulations!" She told everyone we were engaged. Now, full disclosure, I had given her a ring with her birthstone in it for Christmas. It was, like, $40. Seriously, NO proposal or even hint of it on my part. We broke up a week later after I decided it just wasn't worth the hassle.

(For the record, after the breakup she had a one night stand, got a VD, met someone online, dropped out of c ...

Yep, that's about the size of it.  Brunette, size 2, looked like Danica Patrick and was great in bed.  I was in love but not blinded by it, lasted 16 months of glory and pain.  As a friend put it to me; "your instinct for self-preservation is pretty strong".

(for the record; she was married a year later and, as far as I know, didn't self-destruct like yours)

Hebalo: The version I watched was filled with him taunting her, calling her names, and being kind of selfish.

Which a normal person ignores, walks away from and files for divorce. A crazy biatch keeps fighting and throwing a tantrum thinking that the outcome is going to go her way.

Me (after long day at work/have to get up early): Good night, babe. *smooch*

Her (no job/nothing to do in the morning): But... don't you love me?

Me: Huh? Yeah, of course. Good night, babe. *smooch*

Her: What's wrong with me? WHY DON'T YOU LOVE ME?!

Me: Uh... I'm just really tired. Come lay down.

Her: BLUUUURGH!!!

Me: Okay, I really need some sleep. I'm gonna do that now. You can stay or you can go back to your place... but seriously I need some sleep. We can talk about this tomorrow. Good night.

Her: *pounces on back/pummels back of head/shoulder blades*

Me: WTF?! *starts standing up with her on back*

Her: *bolts into kitchen/hides under table crying*

Me: WTF?!

Her: Don't hurt me!! I know I deserve it but PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!!!

Me: Jeezus woman! I'd never hurt you but you gotta go home... like NOW!

Her: can't i just... yanno... lay down next to you?

Me: Aw HELL no!

Her: okay...

Fin.

The more I watch this, the more I get the "Maybe we can get on a reality show" bullshiat vibe. I mean, I know I'm not the first to think this, and I could very well be wrong, but something just seems fishy. Why does it take all day to get your tires rotated? And why would you take your wife with you?

But you have no idea so it's just conjecture.

Did you miss her casual mention of how getting her oil changed was somehow someone else's problem because of "the interlock thing" on her car?
The dude may *also* be a colossal d-bag, but the question of whether she's bug-fark-nuts is not remotely tough to say.

What's the manly way for him to act? Beat her? Be her b*tch?  Maybe dude manned up and  checked out.

Have you dated crazy? Normal people don't mean to date crazy. But have you?  If so; remember what it was like?

To me, dude came across as callous and fed up. If you are rational, there is not much you can say to those with depression, anger issues or behavior problems where you won't look a prick; especially if there are water works.  Staying in that relationship would not have ended well for him.

2013-07-26 02:31:50 PM

The worst thing I heard him call her was 'like an 11 year old who didn't get the toy at Walmart.'

Odd Bird: Yep, that's about the size of it.  Brunette, size 2, looked like Danica Patrick and was great in bed.

All over campus. In the library, in the copy room of campus security, on the dining hall roof, In a server closet in the comp-sci lab, on her kitchen table, mens' room stall in the library, in the middle of the science and engineering building lobby at 2am right in the middle of the damn floor. That's what crazy will do. And then you realize, eventually, that you can find a "normal" who does those things too (under the right circumstances), and that's when you get married.

2013-07-26 02:32:42 PM

Not that it was a tough call to make.  The divorce-court judge is going to have fun slamming this guy's wallet into the ground over "exhibit A: www.youtube.com/..."

I don't care if she's an emotional wreck, you don't surreptitiously record your spouse so that you can ridicule him or her to the world.  I hope she gets ALL.

He should have waited until the divorce was final.

lemonysprite: He comes off worse in the video than her. Yeah she's immature and irritating but he seems like a genuine asshole enjoying the whole thing.

NashMcNash: I do agree that this woman seems fairly unstable and probably a mess to live with, but the guy is a grade A dick for recording her and posting it online.

I find it difficult to believe she went from zero to hystrionic overnight. I suspect she's always been colorful and over-reactive, but the real villain in this thing is the guy. He struck me as a jerk from his comments and the mere fact that he was filming this instead of pulling over to the side of the road to seek some resolution, if only to quiet down until they got home. Then seeing his photos, he looks like a wet, sticky asshole.

I'm going with Abuser on this. She's a nurse. Now, that's a fine profession and there are plenty of sane, emotionally healthy people doing it. It does have more than its share of the emotionally vulnerable, though. I say this from having dated one and having worked in several hospitals during my psychiatric social worker career. I'm guessing he found this babe (and I do mean 'babe'), and enjoyed that he could light her up, taunt, goad, prod, harass, and intimated her. I'll also speculate that right now he's getting all cozy and schmoozy and lovey-dovey and "oh, come on, honey, it's a joke, it was funny. (And besides, who's going to want you now?) No, let's patch this up and have a merry, joyful life together (where I continue to control & manipulate you)."

And she'll fall for it.

Both of them need about a hundred hours with a good therapist. That he set her up to get the documentation is one thing, and I don't blame him if she pulls this shiat frequently. However, he seems to be experienced in pushing her buttons which make me think he's psychologically abusive. They need to part ways.

//Hope she gets the boat in the divorce. Also hope that her shift supervisor cans her ass as she's not in control of her emotions and can freak out under pressure--not the nurse I want working in a ward and caring for me.

A lot of states are making people install them after a first offense now. My buddy gave me an unused mouthpiece for the breath device to put on my key chain to remind me not to make the same mistake. A $70 dollar tab for the entire day, food inlcluded, bought him 10k worth of fines, lawyers, and hassles. His insurance shot up 100 buck a month too. Its not worth it

No, thank you, she's got the issues, and I'm already married to a lovely woman who is kind to me and gives me all the lovin'. Sweet, sweet lovin'. Only minimally crazy too, and she owns it.

The woman in the vid certainly needs some help, who knows, maybe there's some psychiatric stuff going on, thought I suspect it's of the not-so-treatable Axis II variety. But that's just the sort the abusers prey on.

2013-07-26 02:45:02 PM
Nobody needs their tires rotated on THAT one day.  It's a pretty standard thing that you can do next week if you feel like it.  Sounds like he wanted to get her all worked up.

2013-07-26 02:45:28 PM
I find it amazing that so many people are jumping to the defense of the woman despite the fact that she:

1) Has at a minimum 1 DUI if not more for her to have an Interlock device on the vehicle
2) Expects other people to be responsible for her vehicle
3) Has the ability to act like a little kid, I don't care how bad the issue is you do not act like that.  I can say that after experiencing some extreme stuff in my life like being told you are about to die while in the ER.
4) Quickly conclude that the guy is and has been nothing but a jerk despite having no evidence yet defend the woman even though there is tons of evidence that she is crazy.

2013-07-26 02:47:30 PM
The Goddamn Batman: "Why does it take all day to get your tires rotated? And why would you take your wife with you?"

You seem to be missing the context of having known a crazy biatch or two.

It doesn't take all day to get your tired rotated. But she's insane, so not doing what she wants Right This Second is treated as if it were equivalent to not doing it, ever. The question of "why don't they just go after" is answered by the dude's "how can we afford it" that she never really addresses, conflating her income with their discretionary funds. This is a standard move of people with no monetary maturity, who don't grok/have budgets and have likely never had to be personally responsible for farking one up. (A person with $100 can afford any given $20 purchase. But that doesn't mean they can afford *every* potential $20 purchase opportunity they're presented. After you make a few $20 purchases, the rest become no longer affordable, regardless of how much you make -- she doesn't get this, or pretends not to.)

Your crazy-ass wife goes with you to get the tires rotated, when she really wants to go to the lake, because she believes she can tantrum her way into getting whatever she wants. Being in the car just makes it that much easier for you to break down, yell "fine!" and drive to B. Which is why she was wearing a beach dress with, almost certainly, her bathing suit underneath.

None of which means they *weren't* doing a reality show pitch. It just means she's either an authentic crazy biatch *anyway*, or plays one on TV really, *really* well.

Her work and friends were more important than him and their marriage.  Simple result.

Hope the judge gives her the pooped-half of the dog.

dazed420: I find it amazing that so many people are jumping to the defense of the woman despite the fact that she:

1) Has at a minimum 1 DUI if not more for her to have an Interlock device on the vehicle
2) Expects other people to be responsible for her vehicle
3) Has the ability to act like a little kid, I don't care how bad the issue is you do not act like that.  I can say that after experiencing some extreme stuff in my life like being told you are about to die while in the ER.
4) Quickly conclude that the guy is and has been nothing but a jerk despite having no evidence yet defend the woman even though there is tons of evidence that she is crazy.

We expect men to be responsible.
