Eh, I'd still line up for unlawful carnal knowledge of her.

Good.  She needs to be held, she's clearly in the middle of a self destructive episode.

What do you mean, when OU812 is "ready", subby? It was released 25 years ago. Sense, this headline makes none.

It always amuses me when people talk about how unfair it is that people "get off" by being able to successfully plead "not guilty by reason of insanity".  They don't understand that when that happens, you go to a mental institution instead of prison which is nearly always much, much worse.  Plus, you're generally there much, much longer -- it's not like there is a legal maximum for how long they can keep you.

For those of us keeping score, the Van Halen album 5150 was released in 1986, and the follow-up album, OU812, was released in 1988. There is a joke contained in this headline, which is that her 5150 mental hold has been extended and is now so long that, in a hyperbolic sense, it is comparable to the wait of two years between those albums.

You can thank me later.

especially the super hot ones.  After sex, in your head you restart one of those "X Days Without Incident" OSHA clocks, knowing the cray-cray is forthcoming.

(You also learn to purchase and use your own hidden stash of condoms...because you don't trust her)

I think people get upset when *rich people* plead insanity.

Because they don't go to an institution. They go to a private hospital that is essentially a well-appointed country club. And often, their lawyers manage to get them out of even THAT much.

Most people tend to think that pleading insanity is a get out of jail free card.  Though to be honest, tv and movies don't do much to disprove it.  Not to mention that many people see prison as so bad that they can't imagine a mental institution being any worse.  I've seen those shows about life locked up in Super Max prisons and I've talked to people who worked in mental institutions, given the choice, I'll take 23 hours a day in solitary in a super max over a mental institution.

What Ms. Bynes sees is a different kind of truth.  III just go ahead and say it.  She needs to find balance in her life.  The trouble started when she tweeted her curiosity about the singer Drake, whom she wanted to use for unlawful carnal knowledge.  I've even heard that when she was brought into custody on a DUI, she had taken a bite out of her little dog.  When she asked President Obama to fire the cop who arrested her via twitter, she received no response.  She was also able to send him a text and surprisingly he replied saying she was clearly very disturbed, having taken a bite out of her dog.  Her reply was straight, and to the point.  In text-speak she sent, 0U812.  Knowing that, this 5150 hold is no surprise.  I have not heard of a celebrity going this far off the rails with drugs and mental illness since Marvin Gaye in 1984.  I sincerely hope that her parents have more sense than his did, and her life does not end in the same sort of tragedy.  Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and she won't be released until she gets the help she needs, otherwise I fear the next we'll hear about her will be her walking down Sunset Strip dressed as a scuba diver.  Down in the depths of her mind, I hope she maintains some semblance of sanity.  That being said, she's been given fair warning about her behavior.  Let's just hope she's learned her lessons about arson.  It could have been much worse, though, I suppose.  She could have burned an apartment complex or another densely populated facility.  "Women and Children First!" the cries would have come cries as they evacuated the building.  Perhaps she should consult with Eddie Van Halen.  II seem to remember he suffered through a horrible addiction and mental illness problem not that long ago and it seems like he's come out of it okay.  Yes, I think that Mr. Van Halen would be able to offer her some sage advice.  Or at the very least he could pound her cake and murder her vagina.

I do hate when they rhyme the same word....but, there's tons of that out there.

It's a contender, for sure.

If you count anything Sting does as rock, he's basically got the top 5 covered.
