Yes, but if it is a legitimate assassination attempt, the body has its way of shutting that whole thing down.

Fark version of history: People didn't re-elect Carter, and they hate him because he said to wear a sweater.

gsiofa: Norfolking Chance: propasaurus: Jimmy Carter is a Christian, a devout, deeply religious man. All the things the Teabaggers say they want in a President. No wonder they loathe him.

Jimmy Carter actually follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. Not something most christians do.

I read that as Jimmy Christ, and laughed heartily for some reason.

Bobby thinks that he has witnessed a true Christmas miracle performed by Jesus Christ, because Jimmy Carter is a carpenter and has the same initials, and was able to bring them together. This amuses Hank and Cotton, neither of whom think he was a very good president, giving them one thing they agree on.

Jimmy Carter is certainly one of the best ex-presidents we've ever had. Seriously, people can argue about whether he was a good president while in office, but he's done a lot since then that most people would have to admit were very good.

Forget the facts about all of the good work he's done and the principles he's stood by. What really matters is not all the lives he's changed for the better or the houses he's helped build for those who could not otherwise afford it, and it's certainly not his strides into eliminating diseases from drinking water and improving living conditions, or assisting Africa with crop production. It also doesn't matter that he's been critical of both parties and their presidents on various occasions.

No, what really matters is he's a liberal democrat and only served one term in office. Take THAT, libs!
